Surely that was over covid and not the norm
Re: £1,320,000 per year
Has this been published anywhere by BFCSA ?
Re: £1,320,000 per year
Yes, Dom Rosso mentioned it in the meeting.

I think that is one million , three hundred and twenty thousand pinches of salt perhaps but if he is doing that it is some gesture.

I’m pretty certain that figure is correct. What needs to be taken with a pinch of salt is whether it’s ‘his money’ if Barnet fc didn’t play at the hive then none of the businesses would exist so if it’s money earned from his businesses then it’s a full circle.

Where is this meeting published? The SA meetings haven’t been updated since 25.09.21. https://bfcsa1926.mailchimpsites.com/meetings
And how is this really news? If someone had made me guess I’d have said £1.5-1.7m to run a mid-table conference club.
The football club always ‘lost’ money, but we were told we needed off pitch revenue to supplement the ticket sales / sponsorship / league/TV money, hence the reason to leave Underhill for pastures new.
So whether the money comes from the owners back pocket, under his mattress or from the numerous companies associated with the owner &/or the hive, it doesn’t matter….. that is the purpose of the Hive….to fund the football club. Otherwise why move?

The supporters association emailed an excellent and detailed summary of the meeting to their members (maybe you have to subscribe somewhere?) which included this information.
Re: £1,320,000 per year
I agree with others - it's hardly a surprise that the football club needs regular injections of cash - it's self evident that the football club itself has costs which greatly exceed it's revenues
As others have said, the real question is whether it is 110k per month on top of money coming in from other revenue generated by the Hive or whether that 110k includes profits from other companies based at the Hive. If it is on top we should should probably show more gratitude towards TK.
However, my suspicion is that 110k does include revenues from other businesses operating at the Hive. What I would like to know is how healthy are those other businesses that were intended to help the club? If they are as badly run as the football often appears to be, they might well be struggling and if they are struggling, it might well be that some of that money is TKs personal money.
I wish the finances were more transparent!!!!

Re: £1,320,000 per year
Failure costs but does anybody really believe that the person whose net worth has rocketed to in excess of £250m in the last 6 years hasn’t gained far more than he has spent from using Barnet Fc as a vehicle to acquire and then exploit what was 44 acres of public land using the proceeds of selling off what was public land in Barnet for £14.5m on route.
Re: £1,320,000 per year
The idea (Per the Minutes of the meeting with Dom Rosso) that “the Chairman personally makes up a deficit of over £110k to Barnet Football Club every month” is, to be frank, complete and utter nonsense.
Businesses do not operate in this way, with Chairmen dipping into their own pockets, out of the goodness of their hearts!
In reality, Mr Kleanthous has used Barnet Football Club - first Underhill, and then the HIve - as the springboard to increase his own wealth (or, if you prefer, the wealth of his 'portfolio of businesses').
Without Barnet Football Club (around which he has built a large number of other enterprises), where would he be?
I hope the Supporters' Association (to whom I replied by email earlier today) do not allow Mr Kleanthous's representatives to pull the wool over their eyes.

I think you'll find the Supporters Association has vast experience dealing with chairman and you don't have to worry about that.
