Re: Southall at home
According to Downhill Second Half our last game against Southall was on 2nd March 1965, Barnet 4 0 Southall (Figg, Morris 2, Brimacombe).
That would have been one of our last games as an Athenian League club.

Wouldn't surprise me if we tried to switch this game to their place.
Re: Southall at home
around twelve years ago I attended Edgware v southall
Town raced into the lead
that morning Southall sacked their manager- consequently only nine players turned up at the white Lion in protest
Missed kick off and did not think to count the players

Re: Southall at home

You think game might be switched to their place then?

Tie confirmed 15th Nov at THL, 7:45

Fair play. Hope we go deep in the competition. It is another cup. We are there to be shot down. Nice to be the bigger team. We took the competition seriously last season. I hope we do again this year.

If we draw on Saturday against Chelmsford, presumably the replay would be 15th November?
Regardless, we have several players who have played in every / most matches already this season, they shouldn't be chosen for this match. Although if you take out the regular first team starters, we might struggle to name a squad.
I know some fans seem to love this competition but imo it should be bottom of our priorities.

Would expect the tie to be moved if we draw with Chelmsfordbecbee wrote:If we draw on Saturday against Chelmsford, presumably the replay would be 15th November?

Hopefully we forfeit this if it can’t be moved. We don’t have the players for it.
Re: Southall at home
I think a forfeit would see us fined. We'll either move it or put the U18s out to get hammered.WillesdenBee wrote:Hopefully we forfeit this if it can’t be moved. We don’t have the players for it.
