Never forfeit. If you enter the competition you fulfil your fixtures. Forfeiting indicates you are too big for your boots and disrespect the opposition and competition.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 11:28 Hopefully we forfeit this if it can’t be moved. We don’t have the players for it.

It's not disrespecting the competition, it's an admission that we don't have the resources to participate.

How can we play on Monday and Tuesday with 14 players, it's not possible and this sits bottom on the list of priorities for meJohn Hunt wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 14:18Never forfeit. No excuse, I might be wrong (JERROLL Might confirm) but we could have chosen not to enter the competition if this was case or if we did not want to play in it.
Brennan did say in the post match interview from last year final about maybe not entering competition.

Just move it like has been done in other seasons. Overreaction to withdraw from the entire competition and the FA would fine the club.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 17:27How can we play on Monday and Tuesday with 14 players, it's not possible and this sits bottom on the list of priorities for meJohn Hunt wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 14:18Never forfeit. Then it should be rearranged.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 17:27How can we play on Monday and Tuesday with 14 players, it's not possible and this sits bottom on the list of priorities for meJohn Hunt wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 14:18Never forfeit. How big is our squad compared to Southall's?
To squad members who don't play regularly when else would they play?
It is a big game for Southall's players.
If we pull out , which I very much doubt we will it would be another embarrassing episode in an embarrassing season.

It would be cowardly and unprofessional.
I am pretty sure it will be rearranged.

Who are these squad players who don't play regularly? Nowhere near enough to make up a team.John Hunt wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 19:39How big is our squad compared to Southall's?

In both FA Cup ties we haven't even been able to name our full quota of subs.

Not too sure how being 3 points off the playoffs is an embarrassing seasonJohn Hunt wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 19:39How big is our squad compared to Southall's?

Re: Southall at home
of course the game will be postponed and rescheduled, the FA Cup takes priority over any other competition so the likelyhood is game will move to the following week. i can't believe the hysteria over a simple fixture clash! no rush to play it as Edgware/kingsbury vs 85%ers isn't until 29/11 so plenty of time to reschedule.letchbee94 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 17:59No excuse, I might be wrong (JERROLL Might confirm) but we could have chosen not to enter the competition if this was case or if we did not want to play in it.

Middlesex FA are showing this game as being on 22nd November.
Re: Southall at home
Very wise.
I thought that our squad of players was huge at the start of the season. It certainly seems as we were signing loads of players.
I noticed our neighbours from Stevenage played both Charlton and Hadley last night.

They have an academy so not difficult for them to do.John Hunt wrote:Very wise.
