The Hive Capacity
The Hive Capacity
So with the new stand obviously not built yet and will not be for the remainder of this season, we are left with only 3 stands.
The legends stand has a capacity of 2686 but with the black barrier up and Block F and G shut, this is reduced to only 1836.
The main stand has a capacity of 809, but with only Hive Stand A and B open this is reduced to 222.
Leaving home supporters with a max capacity of 2058.
Considering we were only just over 100 away from that at Torquay are the club going to do anything to increase this capacity?
For example open up the second half of Block E and Block F and G or reopen the family stand as they did for Eastleigh, as it was nice to have some supporters on different sides of the stadium.
Even when away fans bring very small followings, they still give them the 'Stand 66' so is there still any need for the barrier and not allowing our fans in the remaining blocks? , or an alternative idea could be house the away fans in Block F and G as this still has a capacity of 642, and allow home fans to sit over in 'Stand 66' (capacity of 1924) . As the majority of clubs at this level will not bring over that amount so would only need to house away fans there when there is a big following.
Obviously this will not be a problem next season as we will have the brand new stand ready for housing home fans and that will help add to the atmosphere once again, but it is something to think about, as if TK did ever decide to run a promo, fans wouldn't be able to make full use of this as stated earlier against Torquay we were only just over 100 away from the max capacity.
Looking to the weekend and ticket sales far exceeding what they were for Torquay, will we technically 'sell out' the home end?

Re: The Hive Capacity
On the tickets website it shows that the second part of block e is open and theres around 7 people who bought tickets from it
Re: The Hive Capacity
Block A has nearly sold out, and D is mostly full apart from the front rows

Re: The Hive Capacity
Just open up the whole stadium ffs, we need to create atmosphere, especially when the attendance is increasing
Re: The Hive Capacity
what 'should' happen and what 'does' happen are two sometimes very opposite things at this club...11bee717 wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 23:03Yes, but this is without the second half of the block being available on the ticketing system. So the barrier should be at the end of E.
Re: The Hive Capacity
For the people who want to buy tickets, buy in the second half of block E so we can force them to open it
