How times change. Who'd have thought we'd see anything like this sort of stability again just a couple of years ago?

Great news. DB is a Bee!

Technically DB’s extension is also in the DoF role! It’s just that within this capacity he is able to appoint himself as manager! Not that I think he’ll be taking a step back any time soon :D

Right thing, right time, hopefully he'll see it through which means we'll carry on growing and moving forward.

Makes a change from averaging a new manager every 16 weeks, looking forward to seeing what he can do with us in the football league*

*Either this year or next I'm not fussy

Got to give credit to TK, he gets criticised all the time, but when he does the right thing then let's pay him on the back, unlike some I do still genuinely believe TK still has heart and desire for our club. But great news and great to see Dean tied to our club, hopefully this will show his and future players he is best for the long haul. COYB s

Good point made regarding future players. The club now looks and feels stable, which means players will see joining us as a better prospect. Given that recruitment starts well before the season ends, today's news may be perfect timing and have a knock-on effect on this summer's business.

It feels like an age since we gave a long term contract to a manager at Barnet FC. TK doesn't dish these out lightly.

Good luck DB, carry on what you've started and let's look forward to some success at last. All aboard the Black and Amber machine!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
