Re: Kabamba
Chesterfield assistant manager was asked about rumours linking them with Kabamba in his BBC post-match interview last night and he simply responded that he “is not going to talk about Dean Brennan’s players while they play for them”
Re: Kabamba
After Chesterfield's behaviour in the spring of 2018 hopefully Mr K will refuse to deal with them. if its a question of money just offer Nicke a new contract.

Re: Kabamba
Now that is one player we can’t afford to lose this season.
Re: Kabamba
I would say no chance but then they love signing rivals (not that we'll catch them) players, take Tshimanga, who is now rumoured to be off again.
Re: Kabamba
Absolutely not a chance this is happening.
Re: Kabamba
My feelings entirely. Let's hope it's just a question brought about by them playing us on Saturday - but maybe it would help if Kabamba has an off day against them.
Re: Kabamba
Can see this happening unless Tshimanga leaves chesterfield for a bumper fee (not happening as interest has cooled in him whilst he has been injured) and then Chesterfield decide to invest a preposterous amount in Nicke, I would imagine mid-six figures would be the value.
More than likely this is just their coach’s attempt at silly mind games to disrupt our preparations for Saturdays game.

Re: Kabamba
is he not on a 2 year contract with us?
Re: Kabamba
He is, but if they sell Tshimanga apparently they are prepared to pay what’ll be a very high fee!

Re: Kabamba
Tshimanga doesn’t appear to be the same since his long-term injury last season and has not been making the starting line-up so I’m not sure who is going to be paying lots of pennies for him.
Re: Kabamba
There is a long thread about him on Chesterfield forum. Having just read the first page, apparently he threw his toys out of the pram when a proposed move to Birmingham fell through last summer and the manager doesn't want him in the team because of his poor attitude - so isn't playing him. Other clubs presumably know this and it will have affected his potential selling price.rudebwoyben wrote: ↑25 Jan 2023, 16:33 Tshimanga doesn’t appear to be the same since his long-term injury last season and has not been making the starting line-up so I’m not sure who is going to be paying lots of pennies for him.
