I noticed that too. Gotta give him credit there.

Wish the Chesterfield commentators would stop going on about Kabamba joining Chesterfield.

Chesterfield second half have had good possession but crosses into box from both sides have been poor ovarall, surprised that if as rumoured Chesterfield are after him seems strange how much room they have given him in there box for his last two goals, with all the possession Chesterfield have had cannot remember Laurie Walker having that much to do. Great clearance of line from Gorman, and a couple of good saves from walker, but thought we worked really hard in midfield, and fully deserved the three points.

Very impressive result.
Inspirational finishing from Kabamba.
The away team will be disappointed they didn’t make more of their openings although Gorman’s goal line clearance was huge and a turning point (reminds me of Anthony Charles clearance home to Crawley in 2005 when score was at 1-0 - I think I’ve recalled that right). Couple of excellent interceptions and tackles from our left back.

Another heavy defeat for Dorking. Beespod prediction that they could be the free fall team looking likely.

Best I’ve felt after a Hive game since Brentford. Rode our luck a bit in places some ruthless Kabamba finishing giving us our best league result in a long time . Thought Gorman was excellent second half just a shame we haven’t a home game for a while.

A combination of some great last ditch defending, some luck, a lot of hard work and us taking our chances delivers a great win! I thought we looked infinitely better when Beard came on and we switched to four at the back. Chesterfield are clearly a very good team and caused us real problems but didn’t take their chances and, thanks to some top draw finishing from Kabamba, we took all of ours. Special mention too to Kanu who I thought was superb (and as I said above, is wasted as a wing back). He caused them real issues when he was allowed to get forward. I wasn’t sure about the tactics today but huge credit to DB for the job he’s doing. Last season we lost 4-2 and 4-1 to Chesterfield - today is a sign of how far we’ve come in a relatively short space of time.

Paul Cook lost it at the end - how their 17 wasn't sent off beyond me. Great performance today after a nervy first half
