Real league table
Updated 23/4/23

And that is nearly that. Wrexham have gone on their merry way and it’s left to the rest of us to decide who will join them in League 2. By right it should be Notts County but, as they say, it’s a funny old game.

Maidenhead’s point was probably more useful to them than the one we got. There is a chance that we might end up facing Bromley rather than our neighbours. Southend & Eastleigh are still in with the faintest of hopes.

The Executive Summary
Champions: Wrexham
Guaranteed Playoff Place: Notts County, Chesterfield, Woking, Barnet, Bromley
Potential Playoff Place: , Boreham Wood, Southend, Eastleigh
On the beach: Dagenham & Redbridge, Solihull Moors, Oldham, Halifax, Wealdstone, Altrincham, Gateshead, Dorking, Aldershot
Relegated: Maidstone, Scunthorpe, Yeovil
Still at risk: York, Maidenhead, Torquay

Guaranteed champion: 110 points
Guaranteed Playoff place: 70 points
Guaranteed Safety: 51 points
Probable playoff place: 69 points
Probable safety: 50 points (goal difference may come into it)

In the points per game table we are 5th
If we take recent form into account the top seven will be: Wrexham, Notts County, Chesterfield, Woking, Barnet, Bromley, Boreham Wood
And the bottom four will be: Torquay, Yeovil(R), Scunthorpe(R), Maidstone(R)

Updated after last night’s very disappointing result. Things are beginning to look a lot less than ideal if we want to be in the playoff places in a few weeks time.

But we are mathematically safe due to Dorking having a game v Yeovil meaning both can't get to 63 points!
