in over 35 years probably the hardest and widest choice to make.

Must be the smallest field ever for Young Player of the Year.

Even the young player is difficult between RDH and Kanu. If anyone can jog my memory of some of the goals of the season contenders that would be marvellous!

Out of curiosity, why are players like Potter and Revan not eligible for U23 POTY?

A few contenders that come to mind:

Kabamba 2nd goal at Yeovil (nonchalant lob over keeper)
De Havilland free kick at Torquay
Kanu solo goal at Oldham
Senior solo goal home vs Aldershot
De Havilland long range strike home vs Boreham Wood

Am sure there are other worthy contenders that I can’t recall just now.

Kanu goal at Wrexham was unbelievable.

Was torn between Kanu v Wrexham, Kabamba vs Yeovil and RDH vs bwood. Went for the RDH goal in the end, nice routine and it was brilliant in context with the game

I suppose I’ve got the excuse that it was one of twelve that day, but how could I forget that one! ! In fact, it’s got my vote. Superb goal

Is the Lester Finch Award being awarded this year?

I know I can't as I'm not on the committee, but as I will do until he deservedly wins it, can I nominate Gary Phillips again?

Hardest player of the season choice I’ve known as a Barnet supporter

There are several good candidates but Laurie Walker is a very easy choice.

Mark Whitelegg shouldn’t be allowed to vote for the Lester Finch award because he should get it for his pivotal role in setting up and running the new SA.
