Without Finlay we have 7 players who can play centre back so fairly well stocked there.
Okimo
Oluwo
Thompson
Stevens
Collinge
Wynter
Cropper
Only 1(.5) left footed though, depending on whether or not you count Stevens
He's two footed.... at least in some challenges

Wow, that is an incredible signing for them. Hopefully he can help them take some points off some of our rivals for the top 3.

Surely we would’ve jumped at the chance to sign Tshimanga? Wonder if we tried.

Real shame we could not manage to get him on loan, but maybe whoever Dean is after will make Tshiminga look like a novice.

He’s hardly played a minute for 2 years. Not sure he’s worth the risk.

I doubt he’d have wanted to join us. Totally get him going to wood. Wants to be happy playing football again so he’s gone to where he felt that the most.

I think sometimes you’ve got to hold your hands up and say ‘that’s a good signing.’ The prevailing wisdom on here in the summer was that Will Grigg is finished, won’t contribute for Chesterfield etc., and now he’s helping to fire them to the title with an incredible minutes-per-goal record.

Tshimanga scored 7 National League goals last season (including yet another one against us) despite only starting four games as Chesterfield planned ahead to his mid-season departure, after a stupendous 24 league goals in 27 games the the year before (5 against us!).

He scored his pen in Peterborough’s play-off shoot-out vs Sheff Wed and has made 24 appearances this season. Not many goals this season in League One, but Wood don’t need him to be prolific at that level. I’m sure his relationship with Wood and with Garrard helped, and I’m happier he’s gone to them than a play-off rival. With that National League goals record it’s fair to say Boreham Wood have pulled off a hell of a coup there.

Why would be not want to join us, even thou he played for the Boringwood why would be not want to join a team in the play offs but would be more comfortable joining a ex club fighting relegation.

Not a fan of the Hooper deal but the risk of a free agent on a lower wage is nothing compared to using what would’ve been our final loan spot.

Completely low risk. Minimal cost. Tshimanga would not be low risk.

I notice that Christian Doidge has rejoined Forest Green Rovers. Am I right that Barnet tried to sign him at one time? I think it have been MA, who made the move.
