Do these players get released and still think they're going to get the same amount?! He'll be lucky to get half that if he couldnt cut it at a team that came about 5th bottom in league two
Yep they do! Agents and players are quite deluded, almost double the amount of players out of contract this summer from the Championship to the bottom of the National League plus the Academy players from the PL.

As one other mentioned Reiss Greenidge a prime example, David Moyo another. Even more will be squeezed lower this year and a good percentage based on poor judgement from agents and players.

Adebola Oluwa, centre half signed from Chelmsford, looks like yet another very good signing, 23 years old, Dean said he has been tracking him for quite awhile, I take it by this signing the chance of getting Potter back next season is now gone, but welcome Adebola look forward to seeing you in a Bees shirt.

I have no clue about Adebola but from what I'm reading everyone is singing his praises! Looks like a unit aswell, young which will give us a good balance with experience and youth in that area, very happy with it, hopefully get a few more in over the coming weeks! Would love to see us sign Harry Smith, we need that target man in this division! Fingers crossed 🤞

Happy with this signing. DB knows what type of player he wants and has probably either seen him a few times. I was more worried last season when we seemed to be buying players that appeared past it or failed at other clubs just because DB had previously had them at another club. Fortunately it worked for us and he just needs t do a bit of fine tuning. Again, I'm happy that the signings appear to be happening early on in the close season so the players will have a full pre-season to gel.

Think this bodes well, Chelmsford did well against us twice this season. Like the early signing too

Watching FA Trophy final.

Like the the look of Adam Campbell ( Gateshead )

Good pedigree, Good Age. Good foil for Kabamba.

Would he come South, big question mark.

Type of forward we need.

This early signing shows the trust that TK has in DB, let's hope we can get a few more in soon, and really go for it next season.

Danny Newton released aswell. When we played them away he gave plour defence all kinds of trouble. Looked a decent player

Was just about to post the same. He didn’t just play under Brennan at Wealdstone, but was the star player in their title-winning side.

Here’s what Brennan had to say about him when he won their player of the year award for that season:

https://www.wealdstone-fc.com/post/end- ... ds-results

Lewis made 44 appearances during B’wood’s very successful season this year. Think a fair few of those were as sub, but still a big contribution and the sort of record that Brennan seems to look for.

Wouldn’t be keen on Newton coming in - tries hard but doesn’t score many goals at all nor offer much else (although of course he came up with the finish of a lifetime against us on New Year’s Day, typically!).

Current Team

-------------------------------------Walker-----------------------

-------------------Collinge----------Adebola------Okimo------

-----Wynter------------------------------------------Beard--------

-----------Gorman---Pritchard----De Havilland-----------------

-------------------Kabamba-------Kanu----------------------------

Subs: Diarra, Phillips, Armstrong, Granville, Revan

Even now it looks like a decent side. Nice to feel we are now turning it in to a refined version of an excellent side.

DB loves a player he has worked with before, could see it happening. Also plays wing back in the formation which we know DB likes to play.

There is plenty of time and we don't need that many players. DB is currently n the position of being able to be quite fussy and aim for exactly who he wants. Obviously if he misses out on his first choices then things could be different later.

I echo others, could definitely see Lewis coming in. Versatile and quick + played under DB before.
