As well as the plaudits already given to our midfield I thought they were superb in winning back the ball; I lost count of the number of times that they slid in to tackle and regain possession.

Echo everything about Danny Collinge on and off the pitch, proud to be sponsoring him this season!

Looked a lot more, the main stand was buzzing, but I guess Alty had 60-80 fans only.

Good atmosphere (although I was sitting right near the battalion boys) - noticeable how quiet it was for 10 mins after half time whilst they took their time to get back from the bar

Without them it would be so quiet - they really do get others involved. Keep it up all!

It was great being there yesterday. The team played incredibly well, a really collective performance, but with so many outstanding individual performances too. Some of the passing was outstanding, and shows just what this squad is capable of. That second goal in particular was an absolute peach. Good work by Gorman to win the ball, a fantastic pass to Collinge, dummies then a great Brunt finish.

It felt like more yesterday than just under 1,700- I really like having the whole stand open and the atmosphere and noise is really great to be around - the players must feed off it too. Notwithstanding the Gorman yellow - it wasn't, I thought the ref was half decent. It was very clear to see that the Alty defender was being told that 'the next one you will be off' which is why they hooked him off, he was so off the pace of the game.

Like others have said, and Dean himself, we could have won 6-7 nil, with the clear cut chances we had, so the only criticism is that we need to be more clinical, as against better teams we will get punished. However, this shouldn't take away from what was a treat to watch. Absolutely brilliant.

Well done guys, and onto the next one

I checked away fans tickets sold Friday evening and it was 85, and normally you can add at least 20 that pay on the day, with quite a few posts saying it felt far more than figure quoted as the attendance was wondering if Stan Flashman was doing the counting.

Apparently there were 102 Alty fans suffering at the Hive yesterday!

Excellent performance and great for us to score 3 goals and have 3 different goal scorers.

Special mention to Collinge who really stood out for me.

Some of our football yesterday was outstanding.

A shame neither the Barnet nor Alty highlights appear to have included Collinge’s epic first half tackle.

I always feel the highlights miss so much including full build to goals in some cases.

Ollie Crankshaw was playing in his 2nd match for Alty, signed 30th August from Stockport, undisclosed fee, described as big marquee signing, manager so excited.
He was the player subbed after 36 minutes on Saturday. Injury now confirmed as cruciate ligament damage and he's out for the season.
Reminded me of us with Dave Tarpey. Poor Alty.
