One of the most complete performances you’ll ever see at this level. 3-0 flattered them. We were insanely good. One of, if not, the best Barnet performance I’ve seen since I started coming week in week out in 2012

By the time we got to the final few minutes Alty looked like they wanted the game to end right now. We totally squeezed the life out of them. They looked capable in the first half but by the end 3-0 flattered them.

The biggest compliment I can pay to this performance was that it reminded me of a 14/15 performance at the Hive.

Must admit I thought we had overplayed it in build up to 2nd. Delighted to be proved wrong and look forward to watching it again. Gorman was immense today fantastic all round performance from the team.

Something like 1676, which would suit me as it was pretty close to my prediction league prediction.

Very good performance. Brunt with the plaudits at the end but Collinge as my MOM surely a contender.

Excellent result (in the end). And Alty were not bad.

Great day. Thanks Bees.

Slightly disappointing that the ticket offer was not more of a success but size of crowd was not unexpected.

There is no reason why the club cannot repeat this kind of offer even when league football is back, there will be times when supporters cannot make there club matches but could attend ours through travel time of whatever reason,

Bit of a strange second half! Expected Alty to come out firing on all cylinders. They didn’t.

Then after our second goal - a superb passage of play which I also initially thought we overplayed - the game just sort of petered out. They seemed to give up in the end.

Definitely think 5 or 6-0 would’ve been a much fairer reflection on the game. Gorman, Hartigan & Brunt absolutely bossed that game from start to finish.

Just worry the lack of ruthlessness at times will punish us. Brennan was slamming the turf in frustration at our misses. I think at one point he was actually kneeling with his head in his hands.

Also, how jammy are Chesterfield?

Maybe the heat affected Alty more than it did us, although it's been hot everywhere this week so both teams should have trained and prepared for it. Certainly at 2-0 they just gave up.

Agree the penalty was harsh, just wish we'd not been given it / wish anybody other than Pritchard had taken it.

We should have been out of sight by half time, at least the final score more closely resembled what it should have been.

Ref was overall ok but seemed scared to hand out second yellows. How Alty finished with 10 men was beyond me.

Entertaining match, great to get another 3 points on the board.

Interesting that Chesterfield fans are describing us as an "unfancied" side.

If chesterfield fans mean by the general public they are right.

Unless you follow a club at this level then odds are you know fuck all about football at this level. Most will look at the teams in this division and assume that it’s all about chesterfield, Oldham and Southend.
