York (Away) The York Supposed To Bee At Home Match Thread
So.... tomorrow sees the bees heading up the A1 to take on York City in our latest Bananarama fixture.
After a slow start to the season York have picked up 7 points from their last 5 games and sit just above the relegation zone on 10 points. They will be looking to build on this strong recent form and the long journey that the Bees have to get to York City on a Tuesday night.
After leaving the dlapidated but charming Bootham Crescent (I am not calling it KitKat Crescent as that was just a stupid name to be snickered at) York moved to an 8,500 capacity arena outside of town with all the charm of a TK apology for not holding a vote. Despite their proud league history they have struggled in the National League of late and only recently regained their place at our level. Despite bringing in a manager with decent pedigree there is Ardley much to get excited about in York at present.
A visit to the city is the real benefit here with the longest walled city in Europe, various haunted pubs and a medieval cathedral on offer as well as my personal favourite the National Rail Museum featuring the most beautiful train to take the tracks, the Mallard. While it will be fun to duck out of sight for a few hours in the museum it would be quackers not to also note the rich history of York as a viking strong hold and with a lot of cobbled streets you have to make sure that Uhtred carefully on the way to the tea rooms.
In terms of team lineup I expect to see a fair bit of rotation and Hartigan's injury may also force a rejig in midfield. I would go:-
---------------------------------Walker-----------------------------
------Hall-Johnson------Collinge-----Oluwu---------Coker-----
-----Kanu---------------Brunt-----Gorman---------Pritchard-----
--------------------------Stead-----Kabamba------------------------
Subs: Okimo, Armstrong, Wynter, Barratt, Senior
In the event Hartigan is fit then he would come in for Gorman with Senior dropping out.
I am doing this one by train getting the last train back. Looking forward to what should be a good trip and hopefully three points.

I don’t see us (nor see why) deviating from 3-3-3-1
Re: York (Away) The York Supposed To Bee At Home Match Thread
I think RHJ will start along with armstrong to give us legs and pace

RHJ starts, as does Stead. Maybe a wing back formation with 2 forwards?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Wish this game was on a Saturday

I'm trying to login to national League TV on my smart TV and it's not having it. Anyone have any ideas? It worked fine last season and on my phone.

For some reason I’ve never found direct on to tv works that well. I usually log on on a pc and connect to tv by hdmi for best results.

Terrible lazy pass from Oluwo giving the ball straight to a York player. Then goal.

They just showed the goal on TNT Sport. Awful defending, Akinyemi unmarked and had loads of time to sprint clear

We've woken up! Lovely placed shot by Pritchard

Great response and great to see Pritchard off the mark with a nice finish.
Game hasn't settled at all. We need to stand firm at the back now.

Anyone else streaming but with No sound, same with Hartlepool, Altricham, Aldershot, kiddiminster. The rest are working fine, this seems to be a common occurance
