Unfortunately I was unable to make the 3,000 mile trip to get to the game but one thing seems clear: DB made the wrong tactical and substitution decisions. This worries me now that we are about to play teams higher in the division and the pressure will be on. I hope he has people around him who can openly discuss his decisions.

he didn't give himself a 2 year contract, yes he was poor but others should take the blame for his poorness!

That's exactly how I feel about all substandard players.

And I do remember the one moment of talent from Adam Gross, his one goal, at Underhill. That was a true piece of skill!

A fantastic first half performance that simply lacked a deserved goal and then completely fell apart for 30 mins in the second. At least we got some goals at the end to soften the blow.

A great turnout by the bees, it felt packed in that end and the whole day had a big game feel about it. Funny how despite 1st vs 2nd (with a better points tally at this point than Wrexham/Notts last year), big star players like Hooper and Grigg, nearly 10,000 at div 5, the media coverage of this was pathetic. Shows you how much media love-in the Wrexham owners get because this deserved so much more.

Regarding the fan behaviour, a couple were escorted out for going a bit too far but let's not tarnish all with this brush. 2 out of 640 odd is nothing and you will unfortunately get this from time to time. I'm sure they're embarrassed by it so let's move on. Can't speak of the coach experience but I'm sorry to hear about that, hopefully we can still run more in the future (Newport?).

Word will get round and quotes for coaches will go sky high & i doubt those on the supporters committee will want to cover the cost of a deposit to ensure good conduct! These kids have ruined it for everyone who wants to use coaches for a long time I guess.

Well done to all Bees who made the long journey.
Wow - and some of their fans still mocked the following!

People will always find something to criticise I guess but as a percentage of our home crowd, we brought a very healthy number away. Great to see so much amb...orange on display too!

We've all got drunk and done things we regret.

I recall an away match where I raised a white handkerchief as Kieran St Amie came on for Danny Hart as a note of surrender. Or when I laughed hysterically when Shaun Batt smote the Crossbar at a preseason friendly. Those were bad players in badly managed teams. See also how Nicky Nicolaou rose to demigod status in my eyes on the basis he was nor Adam gross.

As has been said the person to blame for playing these shambolic footballers was the one who signed them but sometimes you just have to laugh at their ineptitude.

But calling a player see you next Tuesday when there is clearly a player in there low on confidence and you are playing a top of the table clash. Sorry but no. Don't get it.

As for the coach. I am gutted that a few idiots have ruined it for the rest.

Sad to hear that kind of abuse levelled at one of our own.

Senior has shown enough flashes of quality to suggest he could be a big player for us this season. Just needs to do it on a more consistent basis.

Senior can be highly frustrating to watch at times. Clearly has potential but appears very weak physically and indecisive with the ball on the wing. To his credit that lovely 180 skill came off for his set up of one of the goals on Sat.

He was shocking before I left at 4-0.......then set up both goals quite nicely.

Also, it was announce as Hooper getting both on Saturday but clearly Kabamba got the 1st & has since updated in all the necessary places taking him to joint top of the goalscoring charts.

The chaos of the second half has covered up how brilliant we were in the first. Really, really impressive and leaves us in good stead for the rest of the season. We have a very strong chance at Newport IMO who for sure aren't as good as Chesterfield

I was away for my wedding anniversary in Suffolk and my Wife very generously agreed to go to the Ipswich vs. Swansea game where we pretty much got the last two tickets.

Not only did Jack Taylor score a worldie for the Tractor Boys, his passing was sublime and he got a well-deserved MOTM, basically doing Jack Taylor things. In the unlikely event that Ipswich don't get promoted he will still be Premier League next season, very pleased for him. Nice also to see Jamal Lowe get a very good goal for Swansea.

Great to see a whole town decked out in their team's colours, everyone in the area supporting the same team. Obviously with so many teams in London that isn't practical but having that shared communal experience must be pretty special.

Anyway, in terms of this topic, it sounds like we gave it a real good go in the 1st half; only one game, plenty to play for in what so far has been a cracking season.

I thought the same about Chesterfield - 90% of them in the pub before had shirts on.

This is harsh as 9 times out of 10 this season his changes have been spot on, and in many cases won us crucial points.

In fact - Saturday aside - I'd say it's one of Brennan's strengths.

Saturday's subs indeed seemed an emotional reaction. We all have limits to our own mentality and self belief, and dare I say that this was the first time I'd seen such a side to Brennan in his post match interview. He seemed genuinely humbled and like he was dealing with quite a harsh truth in facing up to the result.
