The Hendon fans seem pretty pleased about it.
At least there is a team local to us in the quarter final.

After a 400+ round trip in the last round and the risk of drawing Gateshead, Macclesfield, Chorley etc, I can well imagine why they're happy about only a 20 mile round trip to Wealdstone.
I would have thought that they would have liked to face new opposition. The magic of the cup and all that but local hostilities can be resumed i suppose.

Ah, Amy Fearn, there’s a blast from the past. I remember her getting all kinds of stick when she ran the line for our game at Stadium MK. Yaks bundled in the only goal of the game at the near post from a low corner. The lovely Amy was immediately surrounded by the entire Dons’ and manager Paul Ince, claiming the ball had gone out of play. I believe we were the first, maybe only team to win there that season.

Chesterfield's antipathy towards their FAT match v Welling was such that not only did they send the youth team players but Paul Cook didn't even bother going!
Yes, and first team coach Gary Roberts tweeted a photo from Radcliffe on Saturday so he was scouting us before next week rather than at their game. They clearly didn’t treat it as a 1st team fixture in any way. Shame for the competition… but it opens up the road to Wembley a little more for those of us still in it!

Shame no all NL ties in this round, would have been good to get rid of at least 1 or 2 should we progress.

I don't remember Amy Fearn in either match but I do remember both matches.
Our last match at Welling when we were 0-1 ahead until very late on, when the ball struck a divot and past Graham Stack into the net for a shock equaliser. Fortunately Akinde scored in injury time, we won 2-1 and all was well.
The match at MKD, we were in the Gods, we seemed to be so far from the pitch, I remember feeling it hard to feel involved but how exciting it was when Yakubu scored and we gained a wholly unexpected 0-1 win.
Maybe Amy Fearn is the only person to referee a Barnet match and end up getting an MBE?

She sent Yiadom off with a straight red card in the first half if I remember correctly

Andy Yiadom got a red card in the match at Welling on 5/10/13, we drew 1-1 and Amy Fearn was the ref.

Decent draw admittedly not first choice tie I would have wanted but it could have been alot worse.

Amy Fearn got dogs abuse for sending off Yids but on watching the replay it was definitely a straight red. Felt a bit bad for her after that as we had a very rowdy away following that day.

Anyone at the Hive in tomorrow draw, Peterborough sports away would be decent as well.

14 possible ties, don't want any NL side away especially Heed and don't fancy a trip to the Milkmen either! when we used to go to Moss Rose place was deserted now the get pretty decent crowds! Peterboro Sports or stortford/coalville would tolerable

I'd never heard of The Silkmen being called The Milkmen. Learn something new every day!
