Not to knock DB's recruitment, which has been excellent overall!
Isn't it also worth mentioning that we had negligible injuries in 14/15 season? We'd have been much better off this season without injuries to key players. As we were earlier in the season when we were able to put out virtually the same team every week.

Who was Hunt in 14/15?

David Hunt, bald right back/Centre midfield - had a long throw and not a lot else at that stage of his career. Didn't play much 4 starts 6 subs.

Beekeeper omitted Sam Hoskins, who now appears to be a Northampton Town legend.

You're quite right, but my point is that - purely in terms of volume of players recruited in the summer - we largely have ample cover for those injuries.

So for example we're missing Collinge at centre-back, but we do have the numbers there (Oluwo, Potter, Okimo, Stevens, even Wynter and Cropper can play in a back three). The issue is that some of those players are not necessarily of the requisite quality to step up, so we want to add someone else.

So it's not like DB hasn't been allowed to bring in the required depth there, to cover for those injuries (though admittedly we do look a little less well stocked in central midfield and up front).

Allen's team did largely stay fit, but it's also true that there was no 'wastage' on squad players not up to the task, so there was undoubtedly room to add more loan recruits, had there been more injuries.

Thanks. Funny how some loan players you remember well yet others pass you by. Having looked up his photo and stats, I'd have seen 7 of his appearances yet he still means absolutely nothing to me!

Market is very quiet as said above, but still time for movement.

Anyway, it's bonus money for us whatever we get, remember it'll come in instalments not a full lump and no telling it would invested in the team, the football club is a loss maker.
Very true, supporters need to realise at this level we cannot expect TK to keep putting money in to keep improving when attendances are one of the lowest in the league.
Of course but it goes back to the age old point of No Barnet fc = A significantly smaller fortune for Mr TK.
Barnet FC don't make TK any money whatsoever unless it's the sale of the player, we're the loss making part of his empire.

The point that I’m making is that despite making a loss, we are the main enabler of his continued growth.

Just rumours but posh fans thinking they may lose EMC to Coventry tonight. We may have to accept a 20-25% sell on rather than 50% if that’s the case

Saw on Sky sports last night there was a couple of late bids for Ronnie Edwards yesterday all refused. Must have been on the cheeky side.

Or they weren't the unrealistic amounts that Peterborough appear to be holding out for.

Probably due to what they would then have to pay us!!

This move was confirmed last night. Seen a few rumoured fees flying around of about 3 million but could be way off the mark. In any case, a nice pay day for us it seems.

” The transfer fee Coventry have paid for an exciting attacking talent will also remain undisclosed, but the Sky Blues had cash to spend after selling Gustavo Hamer and Viktor Gyokeres for a combined £35 million in the summer. They also have 19,000 season ticket holders. Posh have described the fee as ‘substantial.’”
