The problem with that is that it would also inconvenience our own supporters, especially those who don't live locally or have to fit matches around family commitments.

TBH I couldn't care less about moaning Chesterfield supporters. Not our fault the match has been postponed.

Anyone know of any Step 3 matches (or below) within a 20 mile radius of Trafalgar Square definitely on this Saturday. Artificial surfaces preferred.

Haringey Borough are at home and their surface is artificial.
Wingate & Finchley’s match is still on and it’s 4th against 2nd.

All I've seen since yesterday is Chesterfield fans bleating "xxxx game is on and they are only xx miles is from the Hive". Yeh well quite, that's what happens when you're the first team to call the game off. Let's see how many of these non-artificial pitch games end up going ahead.

As mentioned, we lose a fortune from this game not going ahead, and as we've learnt a fixture pile up when we're in the FA Trophy is the last thing we want

Apparently we have an injury crisis? Really? Sounds like Collinge will miss the re-arranged game and we've got cover across other positions. Gorman hasn't started most of the season.

This game was a free hit if you assume Chesterfield are going up, any points gained are a bonus, most teams won't get any. We've got much bigger games coming up against those around us as our biggest priority is securing 2nd or 3rd which is a HUGE advantage in the play offs.

Chance it could have gone ahead but don’t think we’d have known for sure until an hour before kick off - no fans or TNT would’ve been happy with it being off so late.

Bah humbug.

Still think the pitch would have been fine but a late decision could have been risky so can understand why they did it.

Bromley vs Wood it is instead. Don't know who to support. A score draw with plenty of red cards to key players would be welcome.

Makes no sense to me why it was called off last night. Wingate have a pitch inspection taking place right now, so they must think there's a chance of it being playable at 3pm. Have we a Sat free that this could be rearranged, I hate Tuesday night games.

We don't play on Wingates pitch so irrelevant

And their ground doesn't have high stands which stop the sun getting to parts of the pitch!

Referee called off the game.

We'll lose a fortune from rescheduled game having less fans and not being on TV.

And you all tell me TK is all about the money, so would have done anything to get it on. Love how we're all weather experts these days. Of course the pitch is frozen.
This.

Bit of a strange argument given that we don’t have a South stand at all so any sun has an almost unimpeded route to the pitch for most of the daylight hours.

Ebbsfleet also on - well done to them. Maybe we’ll be getting in touch asking how they managed it.
