Maybe the fact that’s it a hybrid pitch and Arsenal spend £££s on it helped keep it playable, plus the stands at Borehamwood are much lower.

Redbridge vs Brentwood being played on a grass pitch.

I am starting to think that some people don't understand how weather works.

Ridiculous how we continue to persist with trying to schedule matches during the coldest months whilst leaving June and July with glorious weather yet nothing.

More people would go to matches during better weather, and the clubs can save a fortune not having to use floodlights in the darkest of months.

Playing during these months has absolutely no benefit to anyone.
This is not quite as bizarre as your Dean Brennan post earlier this week but it’s close.
Clearly possessed by the spirit of Halifax Henry... remember him?

Bromley currently 1-1 with Wood.
That can stay the same and we will have a game in hand on 2nd, only 2 points behind

I'm sure most would agree, that if we really wanted the game to be played today, (ie. we had a full strength team and Chesterfield had a spate of injuries/suspensions), it would be kicking off soon.

For the final time, it’s the referee who decides, not the club!

Also, so you think Dean wants fixture congestion? A repeat of last season?

In any case, Chesterfield's squad is so strong that the chances of them having a spate of injuries/ suspensions whenever the match is played is too remote to lose out on the larger attendance and TV money that we'd have got by playing today.

We are all disappointed that today's match is off but better that than a broken leg or two from playing on an unfit pitch.

2-1 now unfortunately - they’re a well oiled machine since the slow start to the season.

2-1 Bromley. Reynolds looked miles offside. Cheek just had a 3rd disallowed.

I know, but he decided that yesterday. Have a listen to the Barnsley managers comments after their game was called off.at Stevenage.

Hopefully Borehamwood can hold on or get winner.
