Bah humbug.

Still think the pitch would have been fine but a late decision could have been risky so can understand why they did it.

Bromley vs Wood it is instead. Don't know who to support. A score draw with plenty of red cards to key players would be welcome.
Borehamwood are no danger to us.

It's quite weird silently cheering on Borehamwood.

Yea although like I said another post they are of no concern to us this season so them getting a result was good for us.

And their ground doesn't have high stands which stop the sun getting to parts of the pitch!
Bit of a strange argument given that we don’t have a South stand at all so any sun has an almost unimpeded route to the pitch for most of the daylight hours.
My main point is why call off the game the day before. The sensible decision would of been a pitch inspection at 2pm and make a decision from there. Chesterfield fans have non refundable train tickets, the team were due to set off yesterday at 2pm, so their coach and hotel will of been paid for. I just don’t get what we've saved by making such a hasty decision.

Ask the Altrincham fans who were well on there way down this morning, probably done half a tank of juice, if they'd have preferred the game to be called off yesterday or late this morning.

All this talk about temperature rising, air temperature and ground temperature are different.
All 25 of them (tickets purchased online). I'd imagine there are over 500 Chesterfield fans with train tickets who would of liked us to hold fire, until midday before making a decision.
If you're going to make a stat up go big at least ...900 fans on trains...lol

Still don't want them to win.

John ,

There are 7 Tuesdays to choose from where neither team are playing

Feb 13th & 27th
March 5th , 19th & 26th
April 9th & 16th ( we are playing Oxford City at home on the 1st....im not joking,,,,, so have omitted 2nd April)

I guess they wil be wanting it as late as possible to avoid any risk of frost !!! sooner rather than later for me as im moving to ........ Chesterfield...... of all places soon !!!!

Logic says Chesterfield & Rochdale fill the 2 of the 3 feb dates inc 6th when Rochdale aren't playing especially while we are still in the trophy we need to keep on top of our fixtures. Thank goodness these are Hive games we need to fit in (everything crossed for Oldham & Heed to be on!!)

Monday 1st April is Easter Monday so makes sense to have a match on that date.

A bit of a numpty question :?:

I may not be able to make it if the game is rescheduled to a Tuesday night.

I am assuming the Tickets I purchased are valid for the rescheduled game, if I can make it, but how do I reply for a refund, if I can't make it?

Taken from the email sent to me:
"We will have more information on the rescheduled fixture and our refund policy for any fan who cannot attend the new date."
