Is that our biggest loss of the season in terms of score line?

Just a disastrous performance on every level. When even Hartigan is misplacing every pass you know things have gone badly wrong.

the unpleasant chap who stands by his club, and dares to see the humanity in the players, rather than a childish keyboard warrior. :y:

wow. Just wow.

We absolutely bottled that.

Fair play to Solihull, they came and did an absolute job on us. To throw away a season in 60 minutes hurts.

Not playing Stead or Brunt and starting Oluwo and Pritchard as well was criminal. He hasn’t started in months. Poor tactical management. I can take losing but 0-4 is an unacceptable after finishing on 86 points.

Going into a one-off play-off against a team who finished 10 points behind you is a massive mental challenge. I repeat, what was done psychologically to prepare them for this?

4,560 according to BBC. Hope the irregulars were not put off by today’s unfortunate car crash.

Bottle jobs the lot of them - we would have lost at Wembley anyway but screw me what was that.

Hey at least we could bring a left back on at 3-0 down whilst a striker was in the stands.

Anybody with 1 eye let alone 2 could see Pritchard wasn’t fit yet again but he left him on all game.

We don’t win big games.

Unless we can finish top of in an automatic play-off place we are destined never to go up. So as we'll be outspent by some 'bigger' club we'll be stuck in this simply league for a long time.

Probably our worst performance of the season. Selection and tactics didn’t play to our strengths and we lacked balance.

That being said I’m sure the players just as gutted as we are. All you can do is hopefully learn and move on. Great to see the support today and great atmosphere just shame about the result.

One funny thing - my wife picked me up from the game playing Rod Stewart “I don’t wanna talk about it”. It made me laugh….a lot.

It looked like the game plan was for Kanu to rip them apart. Didn't work and we lost. Can't understand why Brunt was dropped. Onto next season in this god awful league. What a chance we had and we blew it at first hurdle.

That really couldn’t have gone any worse.
I think the occasion got to us, a whole week off left us overthinking things and inhibited us. Solihull looked the fresher side. Their plan of sitting tight, turning over possession rapidly and bringing lots of runners in on the counterattack worked perfectly.
I don’t understand why we didn’t try to go a bit more direct earlier in the match. At the very end we did do that and Solihull wobbled, albeit at 4-0 up.

The system doesn’t work, three centre back with Hartigan also playing as one. Kabamba up top all on his own with zero support and zero movement. We are so slow in possession, we just allow Solihull to get into their shape.

They’re not reinventing the wheel but they play to their strengths.

The big worry was the lack of any idea after we went 1 down and also the body language was shocking, we looked beat after 15 minutes.
