Near full Hive
The game and result were not what anyone expected or wanted, but what a joy it was to see a busy Hive. Imagine we could have this week in week out, it looked great. Cracking atmosphere behind the goal too at the start of the game. The north stand bar is seriously impressive. The only gripe was how slow the north stand turnstiles were, many people missed kick off.
Priority should be getting bums on seats next season and competing again. Enjoy your summer everyone.

Legends bar was dangerous at half time, trying to get out with 100 trying to get in wasn't fun at all and no one would let me out!

Bring back the members deal we had when 1st went to Hive, Can't remember the name but they would only let a certain membership card into the bars.

I vaguely remember that.letchbee94 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 17:57Bring back the members deal we had when 1st went to Hive, Can't remember the name but they would only let a certain membership card into the bars.
Let's hope we get a full Underhill every match with a proper supporter service with drinks and readily and quickly available for those who want to pay our club for their provision.

They were available for 'premium seats' in blocks c,d & e. Tickets were £3 dearer than the seats in A & B!
Re: Near full Hive
Yes, I remember having to show our membership cards to gain access.

That was it premium seats, cheers John.

Under normal circumstances, the 2nd bar area would have serviced the rest of the Legends spectators. That would have alleviated the stress on the main area, but the Solihull fans were using the Jubilee bar.
I think going back to a membership-only bar would be a step backwards. Service just needs to be on the ball at key times. Everyone pays the same price, everyone uses the facilities, club takes revenue from all.
But as far as the original post goes, totally agree. The sight of full stands and the atmosphere at the start was brilliant. We need more occasions like this.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
