Bostock is only 32, so the "legs" wouldn't have been an issue. I don't think he was ever really on our radar, mainly due to money and the position he plays in.

Re: Transfers 2024/25
Bostock was released because he cant get about the pitch and players just run off him. We have the same issue with Hartigan in regards with his issues off the ball. It's not really to do with age. Clifford has signed and is of a similar age to Bostock but he still has the ability to get around the pitch.

If RHJ, Taveres and Browne are all out for Halifax, we may need to dip into the market again...
Formally WillesdenBee but upgraded in the world!
Re: Transfers 2024/25
How likely is that? I thought that at least the first 2 had been subbed for precautionary reasons ?WillesdenBee wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024, 14:27 If RHJ, Taveres and Browne are all out for Halifax, we may need to dip into the market again...
Re: Transfers 2024/25
I wasn’t there but given his history with hamstring injuries and the fact that someone said he was hobbling after the game I’d be pleasantly surprised if we see Browne play in August.
Hopefully beespod feedback that the substitutions were precautionary holds true.

Not sure but was just thinking we'd be a little light without them.becbee wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024, 14:29How likely is that? Re: Transfers 2024/25
We have Cropper, Francis & Kizzi who could play rwb, Shelton or Clifford if Tavares was to play alongside Harts & Brunt or Kanu to replace Browne. not ideal but that is why we have a squad the size that we have.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024, 14:38Not sure but was just thinking we'd be a little light without them.becbee wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024, 14:29How likely is that? Re: Transfers 2024/25
Brennan jinxed it on the Beespod - said he knew how to manage him & that he'd been involved throughout the whole of pre-season (he did seem to be playing a long time during each pre-season).
Re: Transfers 2024/25
Does anyone have a full squad list anywhere?
Re: Transfers 2024/25
Interesting that he "endured" his loan spells at Barnsley, Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers!
Re: Transfers 2024/25
Never heard of Chapman. Is he an attacking mid? 13 goals in 148 apps is not very exciting (granted, many of these may have been subs), but perhaps he can do a job stepping down to the conf.

Another player whose career has been blighted by injury. Could be a master stroke if he gets fit.
