I hope if he does go TK realises it’s still about progression and we need someone to take us over the final hurdle, and not panic and try to shore up shop with some dinosaur

No thanks to Garrad I’ve heard from people around boreham wood and he’s a bit of a bell end but that’s could just be a clash of personalities

In DB we trust ! Unless he goes then booooooooooo

Luke Garrard could have been the right option prior to DB but now the ship has sailed and this team doesn’t need a rebuild.

LG has demonstrated no evidence that he can play the ball dominant game we have developed nor has he demonstrated any evolution in his playing style in a long period with BW which would mean completely unpicking what has got us to this point. DB has done all the hard work in developing a points gathering machine. We need evolution not revolution

Grinding out 1-0s and 0-0s. Not for me. We had that under Still and I’m not wasting my Saturday and Tuesdays watching that garbage.

I was preparing to be deflated.

Excited as ever now to see what he does this summer. Hopefully no more disruptions.

Come on Barnet.

Me neither. The website seems to struggle with any sort of news stories these days.

But excellent news if so!

Yep Swindon confirm he's staying at Barnet. I can go on hols tomorrow in a better mood. They've also released 11 players maybe we could have a couple as compensation for f**ing our lives up for 36 hours....

That is a very positive statement imho, especially the penultimate sentence.

Feels like TK is backing DB and DB is strongly invested in building on his project here. It is rare to have that loyal relationship at this club (and many others tbf) between a competent manager and a willing chairman. I can only think of Fairclough being the last and Still in the 90's? Long may it continue. They don't come around often so enjoy it however long it lasts.

Maybe he's biding his time waiting for a call from Manchester United or Chelsea?

Listened to the excellent beespod interview with DB and interesting to hear his comments on this. Unless I've misunderstood, it sounds like TK just turned down the approach so DB didn't even talk to Swindon? He didn't allude to whether he'd have liked the chance to. He may have chosen to stay even if spoke to them, but I was perhaps wrongly under the impression it was his choice to stay. That's not to say he sounded unhappy, certainly excited for the new season.
