The FA Trophy round dates are as follows:

Preliminary Round - Saturday 24 August 2024
First Round Qualifying - Saturday 7 September 2024
Second Round Qualifying - Saturday 21 September 2024
Third Round Qualifying - Saturday 5 October 2024
First Round Proper - Saturday 26 October 2024
Second Round Proper - Saturday 16 November 2024
Third Round Proper - Saturday 7 December 2024
Fourth Round Proper - Saturday 4 January 2025
Fifth Round Proper - Saturday 1 February 2025
Sixth Round Proper - Saturday 1 March 2025
Semi Final - Saturday 5 April 2025
Final - Saturday 10 or Sunday 11 May 2025

Strange timing with the NL season finishing on Mon 5th May and the Trophy on 10th/11th May - I wonder what that'll mean for the playoff dates?

EFL fixtures have been released today. Their matches kick off on 10th August as do the National League games.
Yet we have to wait until 10th July for our fixtures to be released.
Why the long wait?

Nothing to do with Southend, they are always late coming out and 10th July has been their due date all along.

They have to wait for the FL fixtures to work out any clashes then consult the police and local authorities to avoid clashing with other activities in the area. Also the same company do the fixtures so won't even start on them until they have finished the FL fixtures.

Oh, that makes sense, thanks.
I assumed the leagues just sorted out their own fixtures. Sounds like they are all out-sourced.

Not of course that that always works, when Notts Co were in NL they still had clashes with Nott'm Forest. I remember us having our away fixtures changed to Friday night ( only to be postponed!) and Sunday.

Fixtures are released tomorrow at 1pm.
A home fixture on 10th August will be nice, I don’t mind who against, but an away fixture in the Manchester area on 13th August would suit me just fine.

Oh gawd, it’s Atos who compile the fixture list. So much IT/Analytics stuff is outsourced to them from the public sector and they don’t do a great job, to put it mildly.

We could have been waiting quite a while longer for the fixtures to be released. They were rescued from going bust last week.
