Value for money
These are the early odds for winning the National League (each way for finishing 1,2 or 3 is 1/4 of the odds).
Barnet. 7/1
Oldham. 10/1
FGR. 11/1
Southend. 11/1
Rochdale. 12/1
Solihull. 12/1
Sutton. 12/1
Dagenham. 12/1
Hartlepool. 12/1
AFC Fylde. 16/1
York. 16/1
Gateshead. 16/1
Halifax. 16/1
Altrincham. 16/1
Yeovil. 16/1
Aldershot. 28/1
Eastleigh. 40/1
Braintree. 40/1
Woking. 40/1
Ebbsfleet. 50/1
Boston. 66/1
Wealdstone. 66/1
Tamworth. 66/1
Maidenhead. 100/1
So the Mighty Bees are favourites! Wow! Who would have thought that three or four years ago? We have come a long way since those dark days. Take a bow Mr Brennan. And a cheeky curtsy from TK.
The odds this year show how open the NL is seen by both bookies and, I guess, the punters too.
In my humble opinion 7/1 is a decent offering given the fact we came 2nd last season and the positivity regarding the many signings we have made.
As for the other clubs I think Aldershot at 28/1 and Eastleigh at 40/1 might be worth an each way flutter. Also Woking at 40/1 is tempting.
It promises to be a very interesting season.
Good luck all.

Re: Value for money
Anyone have a comparison between last season's bookies odds and the final positions?
Re: Value for money
We finished 2nd last season. 1st and 3rd were promoted. Hardly rocket science to make us favourites.
Also long established EFL sides relegated tend to be favourites for promotion but neither of last season's 2 relegated sides fall into that category either.

Re: Value for money
Rochdale, Halifax, Hartlepool , Gateshead and FGR will all be up there, hopefully chasing us.

Re: Value for money
Good to see the Bookies think Weirdstone are relegation material. I think Boston and Braintree will be surprise packages, both have made some good signings

There’s still 18 days before the big kick off but some bookies have priced up the opening day’s fixtures.
Halifax win 13/8
Bees win 13/8
Draw 12/5

Draw 12/5
Re: Value for money
is it now not time to worry about Sarfend?
Shame the buggers didn't go bust (harsh I know) but they could well now be last seasons Chesterfield?!

Re: Value for money
Yep - I've had a few flutters on them this week. I notice it's actually better to do singles on them to win & top 3 separately rather than an each way bet (eg you can get them at 4/1 to be top 3 on the same site offering 11/1 & 1/4 terms for ew).
Re: Value for money
If you fancy a flutter on today’s match Bet365 are offering…
Bees win 7/4
Dons win 11/10
Draw 27/10
The draw looks fairly attractive.
Good luck all.

I have updated the best odds for winning the National League (see above). As you can see it’s all about the Mighty Bees with our odds strengthening from 7/1 to 5/1. HOWEVER….there is now only ONE bookie (LiveScoreBet) offering 5/1. ALL other bookies have trimmed our odds to below 5/1, some are offering as little as 7/2.
As you can see, with the exception of Maidenhead United (100/1 to 25/1) and FGR (who stay on 11/1) all other teams have drifted.
If you fancy us to win the National League I would suggest you get your bet on early. A win for us at Halifax may well see our odds strengthening even further.
