Decided against a trip to Hitchin. Too cold and I already got wet once today.

Is Kenlock not at LWB? (I'm not at the game)

Where did Tavares play?

Wonder why there’s no Kanu or RHJ?

Don't wish to jump the gun but Rhys Browne is looking as good as the night he terrified us at Woking not long ago.

Noticed that RHJ wasn’t on the wall behind DB in his interview where Cropper and Francis were. Would make sense if he’s gone tbh, don’t really need 3 right wing backs especially if Tavares can do a job there.

Full time 3-1 to the bees. Quieter second half with minutes in the tank.

I'd love to see him play in number 10 position just behind Kabamba - he'll make things happen for sure.

No 30 Kizzi? Looked a very strong defender and composed - definitely competition for places.

The first half team of mostly newbies marshalled by Hartigan played really well and dominated possession. Hartigans free kick was fumbled by their keeper who up till then had made three brilliant saves. Finley Wilkinson and Rhys Brown's goals were both excellent individual goals. The second half team of mostly regulars were stifled by Hitchin and were not so direct. They were strong in defence though. Overall a positive start.

A few years since I’ve been to Hitchin’s ground but I remember a really good tea hut there.
Does Hitchin Town still do teas and coffees in china cups?
