Excellent listen as always. You mentioned moments of the season in the podcast, two for me, Lee putting us two up vs York, and the roof coming off the main stand when Lee scored the winner vs D&R, unreal...

I agree with these 2 moments. At 1-0 against York you feared we’d concede despite the dominant display. That 2nd goal was a big relief and ‘we’ve done it’ moment. It killed the not doing it in big matches theory as well.

As for Dagenham for those old enough that felt like the Steve Bruce moment for Man U v Sheffield weds in 1993 when united won their first title in years, subs jumping on the pitch, would love to have had a view of TK and MA to see if they were calm!

What a season and thank you beebrief for allowing us to enjoy it and milk it even more!

My 3rd moment would be Tamworth that 30 seconds from the Evans save to stead goal. A complete banana skin fixture where FGR and York both dropped points. So many more candidates but I’ll stop now!

The furious comeback at Dagenham in the away fixture deserves a mention. That was the most important win of the season alongside the York game. Came at a time when we were losing away games and it seemed like it was the same old story, instead it showed this team was never beaten and could score goals in bunches when necessary. Pretty fired up crowd as well pushing the team on for it and some wild celebrations after the 3-3 and 4-3 goals. Most emotional that Deano's been afterwards except for the Woking game recently, he knew how important that win was. It confirmed us as title contenders and we've not really looked back since away from home.

When we went 3-1 down in that match, I was thinking to myself - “That’s us out of the title race.” The determination and mental strength of the team really came to the fore there as well as Dean’s ability to make telling substitutions.
Definitely a huge moment in the season.

Southend away was important too - just an utterly dominant display and set the template for how we’ve played from then up until now.

Game of the season (so far): Daggers away.

Underrated moment of the season: Glover’s 99th minute equaliser to preserve the home record vs Sutton.

Big late winning moments against Dagenham this season without those the gap would only be 7 now.

DB has referred to the importance of that Sutton goal a few times. Kept both our both home and overall unbeaten records. I was more hung up on dropping 2 points than gaining 1 at the time.
