They missed our 2nd though.

Hopefully will be re-edited as a couple of replays were cut short as well as the missing goal...
What a terrible attempt at editing. Barnet's highlights are always a couple of minutes shorter than other teams, but to miss the second goal and not showing replays for some is shoddy work

I watched from the safe standing area as my son wanted to try it - and wanted to be near bench to get a different perspective.

The management team were doing a lot of coaching from the touchline (as you would expect) - but it was always about passing quicker and moving the ball forward. It was still about keeping possession and control, however when you get the ball forward quicker to Brunt in space you saw yesterday what he can do. Having the likes of Chapman who can interchange into the space as well makes us dangerous. Even at 5, 6 & 7 nil - Dean was still demanding the ball was moved quicker.

It will be interesting to see how we do against Gateshead and better opposition as we won't have that space against those sides - but Dean will change the tactics slightly like he has done with Southend and Forest Green.

It's important we enjoy the ride and get behind each and every player - as I said in another thread - we are lucky with the management team that we have - watching them yesterday was as enjoyable as the game.

Highlights really badly edited. Was it a rushed? Was it a work experience editor? Hope it’s redone!

I’m overseas for a week so watched it on NLTV and the coverage froze just before Glover scored so I suspect there is no coverage of that goal, hope I’m proven wrong.

Lets put a stamp on our authority and have a proper ruthless streak to our performance to show the division we well and truly mean business.
Delighted my annihilation prediction came to fruition. We have a very good squad for this level.

The players and especially our manager deserve so much more than the pitiful attendances they have to play in front of.
Don’t get what we have to do to improve attendances the stock and obvious answer is move back to Barnet, I feel for the team and the players. I guess we’re not the only ones with Gateshead getting less through the gate than us. What a squad we have this season!
This is always a tough period with summer holidays still around as well as being as being off the back of essentially 4 games in a week. Arsenal of course didn’t help too, keep the faith!
I’d add to that a few people who no longer go because they actually like the Hive and are disillusioned with all this talk about it not being the true home, although the reality is a return to Barnet remains a pipe dream.

Barnet have shared footage of the second goal on Instagram.

Second goal now included in re-edited YouTube highlights. Not wishing to take it away from Glover but surely that’s an OG?

I suspect that is a very small number, if anyone at all.

I'm not sure a 'pipe dream' is the right phrase either. That implies unattainability, whereas the impeding planning application suggests some degree of confidence that it can happen - TK would be foolish to spend a significant amount of cash on the project if that wasn't the case, and he's not known to be a fan of wasting money!

Not a pipe dream but won’t be for many years, so gotta try and build the support, if we go up we will be outnumbered more than just once a season (Southend) where we start I don’t know! The youth deals are great this season, but so far little or no uptake.

Perfection all over the pitch.
Some quality goals and it was good we got the clean sheet as well.
Pleased for Brunt.
Chapman looks the business.

I would like to see the penalty appeal that wasn’t given. To my untrained eyes it looked like a good shout for what would have been our second penalty in the match.
