I was being literal.

As England competitive fixtures go it is the Umbro Cup of the modern era, but i would like us to win it, just like i would like Barnet to win every single competition they enter from the Herts Trophy to the FA Cup.

I see Woking are offering a 2 for 1 ticket deal for their match against Wealdstone, which, like our game v Alty, kicks off at the same time as the England match.
Is it too late for us to do something similar?

The club have said time and again ticket offers don't work so can't see them being interested - bit like half the England squad who have withdrawn from the camp!

If they didn't do anything last year during the international breaks when we had kind home fixtures then can't see anything this year for sure.

Wembley park will be a joy then. Hopefully game starts on time and minimal stoppage time whereas England match is full of VAR checks to lessen the crowds on way back.

The club usually announce offers the week before a match actually happens, and not on every media forum with a Barnet Account. Perhaps more notice will mean a better uptake

Gateshead v Tamworth scheduled for 10th Sept has been re-scheduled for Tues 8th Oct. Surprised that's been allowed.

And Aldershot v Rochdale has been changed to 5.30pm k.o. today so that it does clash with Eire v England 5pm k.o.

Neither TV nor England game affected their attendance

England were playing in Ireland not two tube stops away.

Is there evidence to suggest crowds will drop? Finland in the Nations League is hardly appealing and Tuesday night games pulls in the more dedicated bees anyway who'd hardly skip out for the 3 lions friendly

I'm more concerned about how rammed the Jubilee line will be than anything else.

If tomorrow's fixture had been reversed I would still have bought the match and watched on NLTV rather than watched England play a friendly match. I'm a Barnet fan first and foremost.

You are part of our hardcore support who think like that, it's the floaters that we would hope to pick up that we will miss out on.
