Surely they can't sign both! Then, again, maybe they can. The money they are paying their players is quite ridiculous.

Re: Deadline day
I've always thought that Joe Quigley is just a poo Harry Smith.
Isn't actually very good at putting the ball in the net. Will suit FGR well.

.. or that most online rumours are unfounded! A good signing for them, would have been a useful addition to us as well, but would assume his salary would be fairly high.WestHampsteadBee wrote: ↑30 Aug 2024, 13:04Surely they can't sign both! Re: Deadline day
Supposedly we were in for Quigley but he chose money over promotion.
Would love to know difference in money offered between ourselves and FGR. Bet it's huge.

And cardwell also signs for FGR, going for the direct approach it seems!
Re: Deadline day
Hasn’t it been clear for months that the extra striker will come after the window shuts?

Would love to see Wilkinson start tomorrow with either NK or RB on the bench.magiovinium_bee wrote: ↑30 Aug 2024, 19:11Exactly this. I was pleased to see that Finlay Wilkinson is back in training, I think he’s going to be a fabulous player for us. He’s 2 footed, strong and can finish.

Dean said Rhys was 5 weeks away after the FGR game so no chance he will be on the bench!Jimbokav1971 wrote: ↑30 Aug 2024, 19:20Would love to see Wilkinson start tomorrow with either NK or RB on the bench.magiovinium_bee wrote: ↑30 Aug 2024, 19:11Exactly this. Re: Deadline day
Brennan has said on several occasions that good players become available once the Window shuts. Players on the fringes in L1 and L2 who want a move for whatever reason now know the National League is their best option for a move until January.
Re: Deadline day
Looks like Collinge and Kanu are staying until at least January
Re: Deadline day
As an aside Ivan Toney going to the Middle East is pure greed. All this talk about securing a future for his family. How .such money does one need?
