CD and E virtually sold out, as well as one block in safe standing, could be over 2k which would be great.ItalBee wrote: ↑27 Sep 2024, 15:40 Im in the safe standing area tomorrow. In fact, I have tickets as close to our bench as possible. Will be my third game in the same seats. Very excited to cheer on Dean and the boys. I was there for the game that resulted in 'that interview'. I have to say, it really was a minority heckling Dean and the bench (and they were totally annoying) - I hope those 'fans' take it easy and give positive vibes tomorrow. This team deserves it.
Really hoping to also get 2000+ tomorrow. I fear we will fall just short but i'd love us to repay this great team with a great turnout.

Very good! Remember to buy lots of beer, sweets and not moan. Let's show character and togetherness!

I hope there's a plan if people turn up hoping to buy £5 tickets at the Hive, apart from just turning them away, of course.

Odds for next home game usual 1200? Hopefully things go right on and off the pitch and a few come back!

I think walk ups on the day should be charged £5 too

Agree with this. Would be a shame a pointless to turn people away.

Yes, today should be all about the experience and making sure it's a positive one.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
The promotion seemed to be a success. It was a busy stand. Now to follow up with more promotions and capitalise on this.
I wouldn't care if they charged a fiver/tenner for the rest of the season. It is nice to see so many faces.
I know season ticket holders have paid more, but that is a sunk cost to us.

You might not mind, but I suspect that TK might!John Hunt wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024, 08:40 The promotion seemed to be a success. It was a busy stand. Now to follow up with more promotions and capitalise on this.

Don't forget that we need the crowds to be 4-5 times larger than usual to justify continued promotions like the one on Saturday.
If I was the club, I'd be looking at the two remaining home midweek matches we currently have in the calendar, and the games preceding / following them. So:
Barnet vs Solihull (Sat 15 Feb)
Barnet vs York (Tues 18 Feb)
and
Barnet vs Yeovil (Tues 4 Mar)
Barnet vs Dagenham (Sat 8 Mar)
Seeing as midweek matches matches are where we really struggle with crowds, could we do some kind of two-for-one offer for those pairings perhaps?

Fair point with the pairings.thebeekeeper wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024, 08:51You might not mind, but I suspect that TK might!John Hunt wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024, 08:40 The promotion seemed to be a success. It was a busy stand. Now to follow up with more promotions and capitalise on this.

it would interesting to see what the receipts would be with the promotion compared to without. I suspect the increase is cost is negligable.

Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
We had nearly 1,000 more than we would have had without the promotion, so all in all a success.
Agree with the Downhill Second Half that there is a lot more to do on the 'product' e.g. half-time games on the pitch for kids, meet and greets, face painting, and of course getting the basics right like acceptable queues for the food and drink and turnstile entry (still broken for certain QR codes on the the Bees Terrace).
What's important is that some seeds have been planted, and whilst they might come back straight away, they've had a taste and a percentage will come back again. It also helps when we keep winning.
I remember it was after my second batch of free tickets from my primary school that I started coming more regularly and then eventually every game possible. So overall it probably took a year or 2 to become a regular as a kid.

1000 * £5 is better than 0 * £22.
The question is how many of those who paid a fiver would have paid full whack anyway and i guess how much extra money was taken at the bar, food hut and club shop from the extra supporters.

I wonder if we can turn the 3G pitch nearest to the stadium into some sort of 'funzone' which can house facepainting, bouncy castles etc. on matchdays.
Really glad to see that the promotion went well, very much felt like a final throw of the dice from the club
