Wealdstone Away
Wealdstone Away
Could be a Jolly Good attendance next week if we can muster 1,000 to travel. Can anybody see why not?
The time is right I reckon.

Other than the fact it’s an absolute shit-tip which may put some off, would be good for the lads to take some serious vocal support

Not too sure how to get there with the train issues
Re: Wealdstone Away
Anywhere decent for a few beers and food en route? Due to tube issues I'll probably be getting central line to Ruislip Gardens, be great to get a good turn out we know how much this fixture means to DB.
Re: Wealdstone Away
According to the Wealdstone forum 1600 home tickets sold so far, 115 Bees tickets sold.

Each to their own, my opinion is the direct opposite of yours in all respects. I shall give it a miss but will be at Aldershot 3 days later.john dockers shorts wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 12:57I actually love the ground. Decent view either sitting or standing. Decent atmosphere.

I love Aldershot’s ground but I don’t dislike Wealdstone’s as much as some people do. There’s a Heath Robinson-esque aspect to it that I quite admire!
It looks like it’s going to be another warm sunny day for football so I’ll stand on the open bit of terracing for this match.

Rememeber it a 17.30 kick off so might not be as warm as it would be for a 3pm.rudebwoyben wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 14:48 I love Aldershot’s ground but I don’t dislike Wealdstone’s as much as some people do. There’s a Heath Robinson-esque aspect to it that I quite admire!

Anyone know how to get DAZN on the telly?
Any pubs in Barnet showing it?

I go to almost every home game and many away games every season. I've been to every game bar Gateshead this season.WestHampsteadBee wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 15:18 Every single Barnet fan should do what they can to get there. End of.
However, I felt so uncomfortable at Wealdstone when I last went that I have not returned. I didn't feel safe in the ground and staff members made me feel uncomfortable and very aware of being female.
For those reasons, I won't be there on Saturday. I will support the team but not at the expense of my emotional comfort.

There is a Wetherspoons in Ruislip Manor which may be the most evil Spoons in England. They frequently have security on the door, especially after games.
Why not try The Greenwood in nearby beautiful, sunny Northolt? The decor is simply to die for.
