In order for a player to be listed as a substitute for a league 2 game, they still have to follow normal registration rules, (unless they are too you). That they were unused actually doesn't make a difference.

I was looking for player who had played league mins after the window closed. I wasn't looking at FACups or any other games.
I think we are agreeing. Fleck and Sheckleford haven't had league minutes yet but still count towards the 22 because they have been in the match day squad.

As an aside being a registered player is not the same as being in the squad list. Obviously being registered to a club is a prerequisite of being on the squad list.

We have one U21 player listed in the main squad list which seemed odd as he didn't have to be there. However it looks like we needed one club developed player in the the main squad list and he was the only one. So the favourite theory now is we have now moved him into U21 list and added Hobson. Apparently the downside of this is that we will only be able to field 6 subs. That might not be an issue for a while

The only other explanation is we have pleaded exceptions circumstances given the injuries and they have accepted them thus allowing us to remove one of the injured players.

If you manage to get promoted you'll have all this to look forward to next season
We’d take that problem!!!

What do you think of our chances of signing him permanently when your injury crisis eases? I think he’s out of contract in the summer so either PC has already made a call on him or will use the coming period to appraise him
It is a shame you didn't go up last season. Most up here would rather visit the Hive (or Underhill) than Bromley with the added bonus that we can occasionally beat you. I like your manager and hopefully you can do it this season.

Regarding Hobson, I'd be surprised but you never know. We had an absolute glut of attacking midfielders this season and PC wanted him to have regular games. If you have discovered he is better in a deeper role then that might make him tempting to us.

There are EFL clubs out there looking to get strikers game time. Aldershot have just taken one on loan from Southampton.

Fine apart from the fact Southampton aren't an EFL until next August!!

If Deano is looking for a replacement for Hobson, it might be worth taking a look at Harry Kite, who is a free agent still looking for a club since leaving Exeter. He's only 24 and played 50 times for the Grecians and has been on loan in the National League.

Don't really know anything about Harry Kite to be honest. I notice he has been out months following an operation on his calf muscle and is still only trying to regain some fitness with his old club as a favour to him. If we do get someone in after Hobson, I would have thought we need someone already match fit as opposed to someone who might be pushing for a place come April, assuming he returns to the same quality as he had prior to his injury. Would appreciate the thoughts of others who may know more than I do.

He seems well on the mend now and keen to find a club in January. Barnet have the advantage of not having to wait until the new year. I have no idea of his financial requirements, but beggars can't be choosers when there are bills mounting up.

All rather speculative, he's one of the many good, bad and indifferent players whom we could sign but quite likely not one of those who will eventually sign and Deano will let us he's been monitoring for months.

Sorry, I just mentioned him in passing because somebody mentioned to me that he was a decent midfielder, who was looking for a club.

Jermaine Francis getting some criticism on social media over this, can't say it's entirely undeserved

After Finley Wilkinson was recalled from Stalebuns, he's now gone out again to Chelmsford, (who have just lost Foyo and 2 other loanees).
