It may just be that we want a full range of sub options - the bench was light on attacking options on Saturday.
JF isn’t gonna benefit from 4 more games at Braintree. He’s done his development, perfect now that we can bring him back and utilise a high level fully fit NL level player who will have trained fairly regularly with us throughout the season. Think this one is definitely more to pad out the squad and make sure we’ve got someone to bring on in any position necessary.

And with Kenlock being out, and Okimo our only other left-footed CB, what does the back 3 look like?
Tavares slots in on the left imo. Think Joe Rye probably the next best alternative for the LHS, be interesting to see if we recall him as well.
We can't recall Joe until loan has run for 28 days so can only recall him for Aldershot at the earliest.

Glover looked fine to me at the end of the match on Saturday.

That's a relief.

Kanu and Glover both in the training pics posted today. Recalling these 2 is about beefing up the bench for the final push, and (hopefully) bringing the squad together as one to enjoy the run-in and whatever memorable moments come with it.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I kind of see it differently. Coker does not fit in to our system as it needs pace and he is more of an Adam ant type full back
As in he stands and delivers?

Or that he’s a bit of a goody two shoes?
I was there when Shaun Batt scored…

Even without the in game injuries on Saturday we were left with a bench low on wing back cover so Reece being called back makes total sense and Jermaine's return adds the option of pace to the bench. Hopefully Idris and Nik will be fit to return to the starting line up too to compensate for those we lost on Saturday.

Francis is the Barnet player with the second highest number of goals this season (9), excluding NK who is no longer a Bee, of course. So we have a lot to look forward to with his return.

He is very much a stand and deliver from patient build up type of player. No longer the quickest which is why I am pleased Brennan has brought legs in to wide areas.

Francis will come straight into the starting line up surely? He's had a great season and in my opinion probably find himself further up the pyramid in no time at all.

Who for?

Shelton, Ndlovu, Stead or Browne?

This is why we loaned him out in the first place.

More likely to replace Browne from the bench

Talking of loans - Bailey Hobson would've been ideal at the moment IMO!
I don't think we look comfortable with Collinge as a right back / wing back - Cropper is apparently injured and we are better with a 3 at the back. Francis is the legs from the bench that's needed to inject a turn of pace. We can't just rely on Stead and Kanu - Chapman off the pace still, and Browne is not going to be a player who bombs forward
