And aren't we the only London club at the top of any of the first 7 divisions?

Our defence did not concede again.
So, a new club record of seven clean sheets from consecutive away games.

IT'S A NEW RECORD!

Barnet's 19 league clean sheets this season is the most we have ever kept in a league season. There are still eight games to play. Owen Evans has kept ten of them and he only joined in January.

We are also now half a season unbeaten, 23 games. 26 is the club record, FYI.

By popular demand (about three requests), here is a list of club records that the 2024-2025 Barnet team has either already set this season or has the potential to set.

Strap in. Statistically this is one of the best teams to ever wear the black and amber.

MOST LEAGUE WINS IN A SEASON

The club record is 30, set in 1965-1966. We are currently on 27 which is ranked 3rd all time. We won 28 in 2014-2015.

The record for home wins (19, currently 16) and away wins (13, currently 11) is also up for grabs.

MOST POINTS IN A SEASON

The club record is 92, set in 2014-2015. If you count all seasons as three points for a win, we would have got 99 points in 1965-1966.

Again, home and away points records could be set in the remaining games.

CLEAN SHEETS IN A LEAGUE SEASON

The 2024-2025 team has already claimed this club record, currently on 20. The previous record was 18.

CONSECUTIVE LEAGUE CLEAN SHEETS

The club record for consecutive league clean sheets is 7 which we’ve done twice, most recently 2018-2019.

On two occasions this season we’ve kept 6 in a row, with the second run ongoing. We’ve only made it to 6 on five occasions ever.

This team has the record already for most consecutive away clean sheets in the league currently ongoing at 8.

This is perhaps the most mad of the lot, given the previous record was 5 and we only ever did it once. In 1907.

UNBEATEN LEAGUE RUNS

We are 24 league games unbeaten which is two short of the record of 26 set across 1962 and 1963.

We are also unbeaten in the last 25 at home (excl. playoffs) starting last season. This record is 26. Away the record is 14 and it’s currently 12.

LEAGUE DOUBLES

We have done the double over 8 teams so far this season. The record is 9.

With the games we have left, we can get to 12 if we beat Braintree, Aldershot and Wealdstone and Fylde.

There are probably more up for grabs but that is a pretty considerable list already. What a team. What a season.

Check some of the records yourself here…

Goals scored in season, goals conceded and largest goal difference all under threat I guess? For us as a club , rather than league...

This is from this time last year but I don't think Chesterfield changed anything.

30 games unbeaten is a serious target set by Crawley.

I’d really like us to beat the largest points difference between 1st and 2nd currently set at 19. Certainly seems doable considering the games we have left and the form of our closest rivals.

These records are largely out of reach because of the silliness of amateur football but from our professional years (1965 onwards) it won't be a million miles off.

The current record of 24 would take that crown, it was previously 21 from the 1930-1931 season. A lot of runs of this length tend to span across the end of one season and the start of the next.

If I’m not mistaken we’ve not been behind in a league match for 86 days (including upto this Saturday) is that a record? Obviously excluding off-season.

In competitive matches, 14 is the club record of consecutive wins. In league matches only, it’s 19 (!!!) This current run of 9 however has only been done five times in club history.

100th win in all competitions, yes. Not many can say they’ve done that for Barnet.
