They've signed a 18 year old midfielder on loan from Middlesbrough, who was playing for Eastbourne earlier this season. Unless they sign some proven players before 5pm, I think we'll be OK. We only need 11 points and I'm pretty sure that will be reduced to 8 points come 5pm SaturdayJWTBee wrote: ↑27 Mar 2025, 13:15I'm with you on this one.I have supported the Bees for so long that I know that we never make it easy! However I'm still optimistic but slightly worried about this Saturday against our bogey team! And,allegedly,Gateshead are making a few signings before the Transfer Window shuts at 5pm today.Admire the confidence, and I very much think we will do it but for me it won’t truly be 0 doubt from my end until we’ve mathematically done it.
Winning the League?!

Gateshead have signed 3 players - Frank Nouble,Brayden Johnson & Ethan Robson.Hopefully they won't have had the time to settle in properly before Saturday! On paper none of them seem brilliant signings but we will see.
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

Standing by my prediction it'll be Wealdstone. How can it not be?
Re: Winning the League?!
What happens if Fylde need a win or draw on the final day of the season to send Wealdstone down? Always want to see a Barnet win and if we are still unbeaten there are going to be a lot of split loyalties

No contest for me, I want to see us win every match. We’re not going to be in the same league next season as Wealdstone anyway and there are plenty of reasons to dislike Fylde too.
Re: Winning the League?!
Wealdstone could be down by then anyway, looking at their fixtures.

I have no interest in Wealdstone’s results one way or the other. They aren’t our rivals, and I would rather our fans stopped giving succour to their fans by showing any interest in what happens to them.
Maybe that’s just me…

It's just you. Don't tell the rest of us fans how to feel.South_Belfast_Bee wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 19:49I have no interest in Wealdstone’s results one way or the other. I love beating them when we play them but otherwise I’m not overly concerned by them.
I want us to win all of our remaining matches this season.

I don't have any hatred of Wealdstone. I can't understand supporters wishing their team lose any game to see another team suffer.rudebwoyben wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 20:34It’s not just you.South_Belfast_Bee wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 19:49I have no interest in Wealdstone’s results one way or the other. I want as many points as possible.
Each to their own I suppose.

I would love it if we can control whether they go down or not. Scummy football club that deserve nothing but relegation. If we win the league and they get relegated in the same season, it tops it off even more.

It could be a bizzare scenario , can somebody check my mental arithmetic.beesknees99 wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 14:12 Standing by my prediction it'll be Wealdstone. How can it not be?
If ,and it's a big IF, Fylde can beat York on April 5th and we beat Braintree that puts us 14 points clear with 15 left to play for..
then, if we beat Wealdstone, on the 12th. and York lose to Aldershot then we're 17 points clear with only 12 left to play for and we are Championese, championese ole,ole ole !!
BUT....we play at 12.30 and York kick off at 3.00 so we won't be able to go nutso after Wealdstone; and the York game, for viewing purposes will be blacked out ,in the UK 'til 5.30 on DAZN so it's not like it could be screened at The Hive immediately after our final whistle!!
If I've got this wrong, my old Sunday evening befuddled brain apologises.

No, if Fylde beat York and we win our next two matches then we’ll be champions. We won’t have to wait for the result of the York vs Aldershot match.
