Coach to Fylde

Post: # 393648Post b4life »

Before finalising a coach to Fylde on the last day of the Season, we urgently need supporters to register their interest.
Pick ups at the Everyman Cinema Barnet and the Hive
Timings to be confirmed
We also must have a volunteer steward on board who will be FREE. The steward will act as main contact on the day for the coach company/Fylde FC plus ensuring everyone on board is accounted for. They'll also have right to refuse anyone board who is drunk or carrying alcohol. Let us know if you are interested.
NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED ON BOARD
Cost : £45
Please email hello@bfcsa1926.com, by Monday 1700, with how many seats you would be interested in.

Please support this. The BFCSA does a lot of work on our behalf. Flyde is awkward to get to at the best of times and the trains are buggered that weekend. One last chance to see this marvellous team this season in person and hopefully we will be celebrating the title by then.

Euston closed that day so a 5 hour treck from st pancras via Sheffield or a 400 mile plus round trip driving in bank Holiday traffic makes this sound very appealing.

The BFCSA have booked the coach and sent out requests for payments.

Please if you have booked make the payment as soon as possible. It can be quite stressful for those organising trips waiting for money to trickle in.

I am so grateful for them organising this. Thank you BFCSA.

Anyone else here travelling in the good old fashioned way?

Me and the old man are driving up sunday morning, stopping at bakewell for Sunday dinner then carrying on our journey up to Blackpool! Really looking forward to this trip!

There are many worse places to stay than Bakewell! I was there a couple of years ago - it's lovely! Obvs you have to try the tart!
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

Trivia alert.
You get Bakewell Pudding at Bakewell, it dates back to 18th century. Bakewell Tart is a 20th century variant which is different and is sold all over Derbyshire whereas I think you can only get Bakewell Pudding at Bakewell.

You are most probably correct,if a little bit pedantic! However I prefer the tart anyway!

There’s a train out of Milton Keynes at 07:17 that will get you into Blackpool North at 10:51. Just in time for the party at The Manchester Bar. £34 same day return with a rail card!

I know but that involves driving to Milton Keynes so defeats the object!

I take your point but it is a journey we make 23 times a season for home games, albeit not quite so early in the morning!

Important that people are aware of all the options. As the planning application comments amply demonstrated not all Bees fans live near Barnet.

Fair play for that but with Euston being closed means its the coach for me.

For anyone wanting to pay for the coach, I am in the entrance to Legends before kick off. I may be there briefly at half time too.

Are people honouring their bookings Mark?
