Is it right that Barnet, Hendon and Enfield all played at Wembley in the same week?

I would imagine 71-72 FA Amateur Cup and FA Trophy Finals was the reason??

I was born exactly 2 months after what is still Barnet's last appearance at Wembley Stadium and would dearly love the opportunity to watch them play there.

I propose the non league charity shield between the winners of the National League and the FA Trophy to be played at Wembley starting this August.

Knowing my luck it would probably be at Vale Farm.

Hendon won the Amateur Cup that day, which, I believe, was a bit of a surprise. I know Tony Bass, a postie, who lived near me, scored. He later went on to join Barnet.
