We are ahead of where I was expecting us to be still - I thought a 12 point return in March would be decent - we got max points.

Today we had a few players who looked jaded / coming back from injuries / only 60 min - Ndlovu, Stead, Shelton, Glover Coker - and it's rare happens in same game. For me Browne was our best player. Ndolvu had hands full with defensive giant - if only could have brought Kabamba on rather than underwhelming Telford.

We had so many chances in first half to have been out of sight by half time.

In second half needed more guile in 18 yard box. Browne elected to shoot too many times when Chapman in particular was free for a pass and shot. Brunt when on 6 yard box time and again passes out wide.

Okimo grew into game given it's first game in ages. As against Braintree - am not convinced Deano got subs right - but had hand forced due to bench options - Cropper an obvious miss

We got a point, we didn’t lose and another game at home to look forward to. 6 points ahead with 4 games to go is a healthy lead still

Would be an ultimate irony, closing of a circle, if Gateshead, our bogey team, but the team that witnessed our last title win, provide a Ricky Modeste moment.

Finding form at just the right time. 🤞
I want to be good, is that not enough.

I’m not being negative but I do think the pressure is getting to the team a little. And that’s to be expected I suppose. The suggestion I want us to fail is nonsense, I just think it’s going to go down to the wire.
Happy to eat my hat if it doesn’t and admit my anxiety got the better of me.
I should probably add that I do have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and it does tend to bleed into my football life as well as personal unfortunately! At the very least, the title race is back on eh, much to mine and others despair.

Maybe as York get closer the pressure will get to them too

I couldn't watch any of Wealdstone's attacks or the goal after that led light was repeatedly flashing hospitality for fear of getting a migraine.

Terrible addition to The Hive.

I thought we looked knackered today. Hopefully they can take a couple of days off and reset before getting ready for the two games next weekend.

Thought we were good first half but second half when injuries took toll and tiredness on those returning and had to make so many subs we looked disjointed. Kenlock will be a big miss. Definitely think nerves and tension effect performance and make injuries more likely. It's hard getting over the line, look at Chesterfield last year. Keep the faith, that's one point down, so much better than none. Will effect York too and they now have two against play off teams. If they win both and we don't win one I will be worried but for now we need positivity, this team is capable of two wins and a draw.

After a very comfortable first half, with Glover and Collinge linking really well down the right I thought we'd refound our mojo after last weeks performance against an excellent Braintree.

In the second half I'm not sure why, but the players seemed to be exhausted, as we made substitution after substitution we seemed to lose our shape and whilst I don't think we were outplayed by Wealdstone, I thought they did enough to deserve a draw.

Hopefully with a weeks rest a rejuvinated side will blow Eastleigh away and there will be a bit more confidence on here. Til then I'm going to worry about other things :)

Ok mate
Will Masuka finally do his naked run when we win the title?

Probably not although he will most likely do a little jig if York win it.

Fgr beaten at home by Gateshead. We now have the only unbeaten home record in the division. Good to see Gateshead picking up before their next home game.

Yes, although Rovers have been unconvincing for weeks so York will be a different proposition nonetheless Gateshead will surely give them a game.
