Happy to eat my hat if it doesn’t and admit my anxiety got the better of me.
I should probably add that I do have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and it does tend to bleed into my football life as well as personal unfortunately! At the very least, the title race is back on eh, much to mine and others despair.

Maybe as York get closer the pressure will get to them too
I was thinking of that as well. Since Hinshelwood conceded the title they've played with freedom, but now they've given themselves a glimmer of hope, the pressure will build.

We are x6 points clear.

Everyone relax please and enjoy your weeks.

Forget about it for a while.

We’re still in a fantastic position. Keep the faith.

The whole point of the 11 point gap was that we didn’t need to be perfect in every match of the run in. It’s doing its job.

Bring on Eastleigh! Win that and we feel excellent again.

Eastleigh and Sutton got battered today. By much lesser teams than us.

We are 6 clear when we were 11 clear 2 games ago. A player who shall remain unnamed was enjoying pints at the pub after the game today - I’m not one to judge but I would be embarrassed to show my face after failing to beat that mob. I have no confidence in the team to win the games next week - I think me might be going to the wire.

Last couple of games Glover has been quiet. Shelton and Chapman look a shadow of what they were before their injuries. Hope Kanu is back and get get back in his stride straight away. Not looking good for Kenlock unfortunately. Reckon Ndlovue was just either tactical or just a protection with 2 games in 4 days coming up

Barnet 2-0 Eastleigh
Gateshead 2-2 York

York 4-0 Oldham
Sutton 1-3 Barnet

Very good post-match interview from Dean. Set exactly the right tone I thought - let's be happy with the position we're in and what we've achieved and move on with confidence to the next game. And he's right - you only have to think back 3-4 years to the dross and the humiliations we were enduring then to realise how far we've come.
From Wealdstone fans' perspective you'd have thought they'd clinched the title from their reaction at the end there. Hopefully that at least meant their thoughts didn't turn to vandalising the stand or facilities on this occasion.

Having heard nothing to the contrary, presumably the Wealdstone fans behaved themselves yesterday? Certainly they seemed fine during the match. No reaction when our fans sang Wealdstone Raider song. They did sing "top of the league, you're having a laugh" but so would any other opponents in the circumstances.

Besides being against us, it was a valuable and probably unexpected point in their battle against relegation so that would be another reason for their celebrations.

I still detest Wealdstone though!

Yet another overreaction and I hate this sort of player shaming.

Agree completely.

Ok so my initial thought was "I wonder who that was?" Which is what you wanted.

But then I thought " how long did you hang around watching him to know just how many pints were involved? " And how do you know that he was enjoying them as opposed to drowning his sorrows?"
The only thing I'd say is maybe it would have been more sensible of the player to have gone home / to a pub well away from The Hive where he could have a drink without the preying eyes of any supporter out to stir.

The player in question has been outstanding this season, no issue with him interacting and enjoying himself with the fans. We will beat Eastleigh, I am confident. We played well first half and should have been out of sight.

This is petty to say the least! The player interacts with fans more than anyone and I can say from first hand experience is quite frankly one of the most determined to get us up.
