Re: Fylde Away - Monday
Any recommendations for a nice pub lunch spot on the M40/M6 route up to Blackpool?
Re: Fylde Away - Monday
I'm stopping at bakewell for a Sunday lunch at a pub called the woodyard on the river wye. Pre booked it a long time ago so might not have any availability now. Worth a punt though, looks nice.EastBarnetBee wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 10:55 Any recommendations for a nice pub lunch spot on the M40/M6 route up to Blackpool?

Your welcome mate, first come first serve outside seating so aiming to get there for when it opens as the weather is looking glorious and would be nice to be outside but booked a table inside to cover myself, about 2 and half hours from blackpool if I remember rightEastBarnetBee wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 11:40Thanks Jim - I’ll check it outBarnetJim wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 11:25I'm stopping at bakewell for a Sunday lunch at a pub called the woodyard on the river wye. I'm still undecided where to stay Monday night, got a friend in Preston where I am staying Sunday but going to stay on Monday night & go with the flow somewhat.

Yes! Staying over Sunday and Monday!PBBee wrote: ↑29 Apr 2025, 11:50 Anyone staying in the hotel overlooking the pitch![]()
Also in case any haven't seen on social media - it seems we have booked out a bar on the sea front for pre-game Monday, which will have DJ set up with a Barnet themed playlist etc. Need to confirm the exact times but original post said 11.30am but others have said 10am!

Are many staying over Sunday & Monday out of interest?

How many do we all reckon we'll take? I suspect 400.
Hopefully the final chance to wave bye bye to the conference and see it out in style. Getting 100 points (and maybe 100 goals?) would be the icing on the cake.
Ground looks new-ish with covered terracing behind the goals. Exactly what The Hive needs.

Someone on Twitter said we’ve sold 364 this morning. Great effort so far!EastBarnetFan wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 12:36 How many do we all reckon we'll take? I suspect 400.

I think around 1000. If we sold it out they’d give us a bigger allocation I think.rudebwoyben wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 12:48I haven't bought my ticket yet!
