Barnet Squad 2025/26
Re: Barnet Squad 2025/26
Another season of Ben Coker would have been nice but if he thinks the time is right to move on then so be it.
I guess this time last year we thought we'd get another season out of Reece Hall- Johnson. Transpired he was good enough to be in Solihull's squad but not ours.

Amazing! A constant reminder of their happy time here and being a Champion!becbee wrote: ↑08 May 2025, 20:58I thought it was his decision to move on.#Beebot wrote: ↑08 May 2025, 20:25I very much doubt he's been let go without a replacement lined upnorthantsbee wrote: ↑08 May 2025, 19:59 Coker is 35 this summer, I'm not saying he couldn't manage a season at League 2, but maybe DB has other irons in the fire.
Clearly he's happy enough with the decision seeing as he's one of three players to get a Bee Tattoo on a group holiday in Ibiza.
I wonder if Coker might rock up at Southend again, especially if they don't go up?
Re: Barnet Squad 2025/26
The way Braintree play I could also see Coker being very effective to provide service to John Akinde - he'd barely have to run. ( Akinde (Pen) ) that iswearebees wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 10:40Amazing! Coker's joy at playing was infectious, his celebration of positive contributions across the team throughout every game, and seemingly permanent smile. Loved his goal vs Rochdale - my goal of the season based on how it made me feel when scored - pure joy with a smile on my face!

Might be one who comes back in a coaching capacity once he hangs up his boots.

Newton has left Solihull- definitely worth a lookBeesting wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 14:35 One i rate which nobody ever mentions is Joe Newton the left back at Solihull, not been at his best this season due to Solihull in general being quite crap but the season before he was excellent, could be a great option at LWB and I believe is out of contract.
Marley Miranda from Braintree could be another option, DB even commented on how good he was in his post match interview when we lost a few weeks back. Young, ball winner in midfield, could be good around Hartigan.
David Ajiboye out of contract at Peterborough would be a great replacement for Kanu if he goes.

Solihull report that they’ve offered James Clarke a contract. So he’s out of contract as it stands…Tuesds wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 13:00I think James Clarke of Solihull looks a ready-made replacement for Collinge if needed (if we can forgive him for scoring in *that* match)FatherStairmaster wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 12:50 Hopefully we can recruit from this division as well. I like the look of Beckwith and Shade. Scott Morriss would be great if Kanu went but highly unlikely

if we don't get him i'd expect him to rock up at Barrow, same with Jack Stevens.Tuesds wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 13:45Solihull report that they’ve offered James Clarke a contract. Re: Barnet Squad 2025/26
Yes, I suppose that is most likely. I think I’ve been kidding myself about this one ever since I noticed Brennan taking the opportunity to have a warm word in his ear at the end of our most recent game vs Solihull!jerroll wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 13:56if we don't get him i'd expect him to rock up at Barrow, same with Jack Stevens.Tuesds wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 13:45Solihull report that they’ve offered James Clarke a contract. Just noticed that Luke Norris has been released by Tranmere. Hertfordshire born with a decent EFL scoring record.
Re: Barnet Squad 2025/26
Regan Booty will want away from Gateshead and is a good age.
Re: Barnet Squad 2025/26
Could be worth looking at Mansfield's released list. Some of these players will have won promotion with them from L2, and we have the Hartigan connection. Aden Flint (CB) and Hiram Boetang (CM) stand out.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

We had Boateng in the building when Rossi Eames was manager but the plug was pulled at the last minute by the then DOF.
