Lucky you. It wouldn't let me do so.

I asked my daughters to look today in case I was missing something. I asked my husband to look the other day. The email doesn't help, nor does phoning. I think my only option is to go to The Hive which is somewhat inconvenient but I need to resolve this finally.

Does anybody know whether Joel works on Mondays or whether someone else relevant does?
Looks like ETBee is off to the Hive this week, perhaps they will have some news for us!
Indeed, I visited the Hive today.

As expected there's no way to input new card details if there are none there already.
On my automatic renew day the system will see there are no details, send me an email with a link to enable me to enter the info and action the purchase. I was reassured that I will not lose my ST.

So I will sit back and let it all happen.

I have phoned the Hive, Joel accepts that I can't input my card details. He said he'd phone his I.T. dept and see what could be done. I have pointed out that this needs to be resolved, not just because of 25/26 ST s but because it potentially could affect others in future seasons when their bank cards change.

Joel returned my call, said IT people are "working on it". He's been told that it should only take a day or so. I expressed my doubts. He's taken my number and will phone me when he hears something.

Seeing as I was told the last email due to be sent a month before the renewal date would contain the info to enable me to sort this didn't arrive until 13th June and didn't help anyway, I don't have complete faith in an email which should follow failure on the renewal date. But maybe that's just me being sceptical.

Worst case scenario is that if it isn't resolved by my renewal date of 2nd July and the email doesn't turn up Joel said that I could then visit The Hive and he'd be able to take my payment on my bank card in person. Which would be a pain but I really do need to get this resolved. Joel also reassured me that I won't lose our ST's but I don't want to risk it, particularly as I'm going abroad on 8th July.

Thanks. Positive that he then called you again, so it does sound like he has taken some immediate action his end at least. My feeling is that it should be fairly simple to fix, its just a tweak to the system rather than a complete overhaul. Lets hope for some positive movement this week. I really don't want to have to go to the Hive.

This is what happened last year. And the link didn't work!

No idea what he looks like, I've only spoken to him on the phone.

Has anyone else just received a very strange email from Barnet fc re season ticket renewal. About changes to pricing. Page after page of gobbledegook followed - presumably computer code.
Then tried to access my ticketing account on the website which had no mention of auto renew anywhere- was there last time I looked!
Hopefully just a bug.

The saga of the season tickets:

Just checked my account and which showed IT had changed my record but not in such a way that would enable payment. So I phoned The Hive again. Joel couldn't resolve.
I then thought to ask him whether a solution was to change to monthly payments. He agreed doing this would resolve things. So couple of minutes later and all done.

Maybe worth considering for anybody else who has a problem, either in July or in the future?

Becbee imo that is poor from the admin side of the club, I bet he could not believe his luck when you suggested that.

How hard could it be for them to just change your details over the phone?

I believe that the staff at the Hive have next to no ability to amend or influence the ticketing system, or those who designed it.

Thanks. I’ve just got off the phone to Joel who seemed very nice and I have switched to that.

For those who want to pay in one go, you can ask the ticket office to call you back from the 1st July where they will be able to take yearly payments over th phone.

Because all efforts at the club are focused on securing Owen Evans on that date.

All season ticket holders get entered into a draw to be our opening day goalkeeper. ;-)
