Would rather have played Boreham Wood away then a Liverpool kids team tbh. Better prep.

Liverpool at home you say? That will be exciting and hopefully a packed house (even if against the kids, London is full of plastic Liverpool fans).

The BBC website has the Newport game down as the Tuesday after Fleetwood. I guess we might prefer to play it in the week before the season.

I am away in Ireland so couldn't go but I thought annual membership entitled you to go to all home friendlies. BCD games are a little cheeky.
So the rumoured Liverpool game seems to be happening. Bugger I am away agai n. I know it would be an underage team but maybe a few loanees to look at. Foxy, Keith, Nick and Big Dan will be happy.
I saw Shamrock Rovers v Waterford yesterday. Hard to gauge the standard. I would be intrigued to see us play a LOI team one day.

Where have people seen about Liverpool?
Why has palace game not been announced yet? Or was that just fake news?

That was on Dean’s calendar as well, was seen in a photo taken.letchbee94 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2025, 10:44 Where have people seen about Liverpool?

Re: Pre Season Friendlies 2025
Clubs have always played practice matches, at training grounds, to which spectators are not invited, and they will continue to do so. Until and unless the club announces a friendly, then it is not happening as a public event. If the glimpses we get as fans of upcoming practice match fixtures cause people to start getting upset because they are behind closed doors or not being promoted, the only thing that will happen is that Dean Brennan and others at the club will become more wary of visitors, give fewer interviews, ask fans not to take photos around the place etc., and that’s surely not what we want.
