I am away in Ireland so couldn't go but I thought annual membership entitled you to go to all home friendlies. BCD games are a little cheeky.

So the rumoured Liverpool game seems to be happening. Bugger I am away agai n. I know it would be an underage team but maybe a few loanees to look at. Foxy, Keith, Nick and Big Dan will be happy.

I saw Shamrock Rovers v Waterford yesterday. Hard to gauge the standard. I would be intrigued to see us play a LOI team one day.
I’d say it’s League 2 standard but improving.

Sorry if this has already been answered but the Orient PSF on the 19 July was originally announced as a 1pm kick off, and I had assumed the Wycombe game on Tuesday 22nd July would be an evening kick off.

Both are now showing as 3pm kick offs in the fixture list. Does anyone know what the a latest position is ?

I find it odd that friend of the stars Ian Abrahams was allowed privileged access to watch the game ahead of our most loyal fans such as Chris Emery and Steve Percy.

We were only “advised “ not to attend. I went to the Hive and watched the match being played on one of the training pitches. There were a few other fans there including one from Sheffield. It’s must be the first time in at least 50 years that I’ve been to a Barnet game and not seen Steve Percy.

Wycombe website also announced it as 7.45 Derek. Hopefully when we play Hitchin on Tuesday they will publish a full list of games and kickoff times.

I think the BCD thing is a bit of a bluff. The very definition is that you can't gain access and that it would be "Behind Closed Doors". That isn't how DB wants to run The Hive, so as long as they don't start physically restricting access, (and they're unlikely to at this stage), then it really isn't worth worrying about.

There were no tickets sold and no stewards etc so the club has to be a little careful at least, and especially for a Liverpool game that might attract more interest, (even if it's just their kids playing).

The wording of the announcement was very soft. "Advised not to attend" is very soft.

When they say "there will be absolutely no access", then it's different. They're just covering themselves.

The Hive was very busy. There was some sort of youth tournament going on in the main arena. Three pairs of goalposts set up on the sides of the pitch with lots of announcements being made. Tickets were being issued at the ticket office.

Is this Liverpool game a real thing then? Strange that we are seemingly playing the league and FA cup champions and neither are in front of a crowd!

Home to palace on Tuesday 8th July, £26 glad I have a season ticket that’s Included as that’s a lot for a friendly against a team that will likely be kids.

Surely that price is wrong?! You can't charge that much for a friendly!
