So with that side of the ground out of commission we’re likely to have a very limited ticket allocation. I think it’s 500 seats that away fans are being given during the development works.

That may be more than we’ve often taken there before, but being our first away game back in the league and our only one in London all season, I wonder if we might have had demand for a few more than 500.
Well if it is only a 500 allocation, then it mustn’t be allowed to go on general sale from the outset - season ticket holders must be given a priority ‘window’ first, to purchase their ticket.

Looks like our home game v Crewe is on a Sunday and our home game v Bromley is a Friday (unless I have read it wrong…very possible).

We only seem to take around 250-300 to Bromley max including a sunny Saturday August fixture 2 years ago, so I'm not overly worried about the 500 cap even if it's out first game back in EFL.

Yep - the Xmas period is a bit weird. Bromley is Good Friday though so fairly standard.

A shame not to get MK Dons & even Oldham earlier in the year before they've gelled/recovered form the short off season.

If we want a New Years day game, then that means playing on New Years day, which next year will be Thursday. Thurs - Sat is probably too close together for most people, so Sunday seems a fair compromise.

EFL agreed with players union to allow extra day. No one has picked up on fact Bristol rovers away is a working Monday!

International breaks usually see at least half the scheduled games postponed - obviously depends on opponents!
The games this year are Shrews Hive, Tranmere away & Cambridge away

And potentially Cambridge home in March next year. Hopefully Cambridge aren't full of international superstars!

Also note that Accrington away is on FA Cup 3rd round weekend if either of us make it...

April 18th 2026 sees us away to Notts County, one I was looking forward to as its short train journey and no car.... :Drink1: ..... However, Nottingham Forest are scheduled to be playing at home to Burnley on the same day. Last time this occurred, back in the NL, it was our game which was moved (to the Friday if i remember correctly) , as they cant have both playing on the same day.

Just as I read Fleetwood Town, at home, first game of the Season this pops up on Transferfeed.!!

Latest News
Jamie Vardy Transfer from Leicester City to Fleetwood Town.
There is a possibility that Jamie Vardy could return to Fleetwood, the club he initially left to join Leicester in 2012.
Although there has been speculation linking him to clubs in England, Spain, and the MLS, a return to Fleetwood remains a considerable option. Vardy is anticipated to make his decision within the next 10 days.

Hopefully we are in round 3 somewhere nearer as I land at Heathrow at 06.30 that morning after a 24 hour flight so Accrington would be a journey too far I fear! re int'l call ups it tends to be clubs with multiple Welsh & NI u21 players!!

First game at home, hopefully lovely weather, big crowd and the TV cameras. It's all set up to be a lovely return to the EFL.
