EFL Fixture Release
Re: EFL Fixture Release
January will be quite the month.......
Re: EFL Fixture Release
Just a heads up, there is a handy tool on EFL website where you can download the fixtures to your calendar.
Re: EFL Fixture Release
Winner of our EFL Cup preliminary round match against Newport will be at home to Millwall in round 1
Re: EFL Fixture Release
Cheltenham away Bank Holiday weekend. That will do.
I want to be good, is that not enough.

Re: EFL Fixture Release
Newport County away on Boxing Day and Brizzle Rovers away on December 29th certainly make it a cool Yule for this adopted West Country lad.

Fleetwood away Easter Monday
Re: EFL Fixture Release
Nice and convenient for you which is great, but like Jerroll said previously - the 29th is a working Monday for most people, so that’s a couple of really sh1t away fixtures scheduled that week.Norfolkbee110 wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025, 15:04 Newport County away on Boxing Day and Brizzle Rovers away on December 29th certainly make it a cool Yule for this adopted West Country lad.
Re: EFL Fixture Release
Yes, I think we all accept that there's a 50% chance of being away on Boing Day but we'd also presume that those clubs away then would then have their next match at home.KensalBee wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025, 17:10Nice and convenient for you which is great, but like Jerroll said previously - the 29th is a working Monday for most people, so that’s a couple of really sh1t away fixtures scheduled that week.Norfolkbee110 wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025, 15:04 Newport County away on Boxing Day and Brizzle Rovers away on December 29th certainly make it a cool Yule for this adopted West Country lad.
Driving up and back along the M4 is a bummer at the best of times ( I got plenty of practice in years gone by), doing it twice in 3 days doesn't bear thinking about.

Here’s part two of our most unhelpful guide to League Two. It covers Gillingham to Walsall. That sounds pretty League Two doesn’t it?

Re: EFL Fixture Release
Done a bit of Maths based on the following statements made by EFL:
EACH WEEKEND 10 LIVE EFL fixtures will be shown, five from the Championship, five from Leagues One and Two.
TIME SLOTS: Five to seven games will be shown on Saturdays at 12.30pm, regular games on Fridays (8pm) and Sundays (12noon/3pm) with additional matches on Thursday and Monday nights (8pm).
The EFL says there will be seven 3pm Championship games each regular Saturday and 19 League One/Two games combined at 3pm on Saturdays.
This means that it is likely that 3 of our games across the season will be moved outside of the 3pm slot for TV purposes. Hopefully they stick to the below dates they have stated they will provide details of any fixture changes:
GAMES UP BEFORE THE END OF SEPTEMBER – TV selections to be confirmed by JULY 3
GAMES UP TO THE THIRD ROUND PROPER OF THE FA CUP (JANUARY 2026) – TV selections to be confirmed by JULY 31
GAMES AFTER THIRD ROUND OF FA CUP THIRD ROUND PROPER TO THE LAST WEEKEND OF FEBRUARY – TV selections to be confirmed by NOVEMBER 7
GAMES FROM MARCH ONWARDS – TV selections will be made on a four-week rollings basis, so for example the first March weekend fixtures will be announced four weeks before, then the next weekend’s a week later etc.
PENULTIMATE WEEKEND GAMES: TV selections will be confirmed three weeks before.
FINAL DAY GAMES: Games kick-off at the same time so fixtures will not be moved with TV details confirmed after all outstanding games have been played.

£1.5million between 24 clubs is £62500 per club. Not a massive amount.

I think that is 1.5m each but I stand to be correctedhoppy wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 17:34Thanks Beeman.beeman wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 16:04To rights dor elf 2 clubs is around the 1.5 million markhoppy wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 15:49Any idea how much Sky pay to the Clubs for televised games?WestHampsteadBee wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025, 10:13 Done a bit of Maths based on the following statements made by EFL:
