Welcome TBONTB! Great to see Hive locals become Barnet Fans and join this wonderful Family Community Club.

Out of interest, have you seen much marketing for Barnet FC around? Like at the Edgware Mall Shopping Centre or elsewhere? Do you know of any other Hive locals supporting Barnet now at all? Great to see our club grow.

Thanks BB We have received monthly newsletters with the offers and the team is written up in the Stanmore local magazine. Problem is residents around Canons Park are a bit anti Barnet and the local MP Bob Blackman wants the team out of Harrow because of 'floodlights shining in local houses' . His sidekick told me this when they were campaigning at the election recently.

Having been viewing this board for a long time I've finally registered. There appears to be a format to be adhered to in this bit so here goes...

Location: New Barnet
How many years following the Bees: Saw first game over forty-odd years ago - the cup replay v QPR, regular since 1991
Which Stand: The South Terrace these days (I still like my football standing up.!!)
All Time Favourite Player: Kenny Lowe, but it might have been Luisma if he'd stayed longer...
All Time Favourite Manager: Mmm, if Barnet did those banners of former managers like Liverpool do then I suppose the “Fathers of our Success" would be Dexter Adams, Barry Fry, Paul Fairclough and, er...well, the jury's still out on the fourth, isn't it.!? I did like a lot of the football we played in the all too brief Dutch era tho'
Best Memory: So many, but Bradford away on a cold January day in 2011 sticks out, as does winning 2-1 from 1-0 down at Peterborough in 1999. Oh, and cheering an away win at Halifax while in a TV shop in Wood Green Shopping City in 1992.!!
Worst memory: So many, but relegation to Torquay at home and away at Northampton...oh, and Kelly Haag just failing to stretch his leg out enough at Chelsea in the cup.
Other Sports you watch: Er, not many but I have been known to go out of my way to see a top class bike race pass by
Hobbies: As I once said in reply to this question in a work related interview...many and varied.!!

Cheers, come on you Bees.!!

Location: South Harrow
How many years following the Bees: Saw Barnet 4 - 7 Crewe in 1991, but in terms of actually actively following the team, 5 months. Before this, I was a regular at The Arsenal, but they have priced me out and pushed me into the arms of Barnet FC. My 8 year-old daughter can now support her local team and enjoys doing so.
All Time Favourite Player: Andy Yiadom.
All Time Favourite Manager: Lack of experience leads me to say Martin Allen
Best Memory: The ten-man win over Bristol Rovers was very satisfying.
Worst memory: The FA Cup game against Newport was not a good experience
Other Sports you watch: Cricket
Hobbies: Music, Family, Books
I was there when Shaun Batt scored…
