Kewell is one of those decent enough players, who will never be a manager. There have been many like him. Coaching is one thing, but the step up needs a whole lot more. For one thing, he doesn't come across as having the personality of a manager - much like Rossi Eames.

I see Barry Fry is saying Ronnie Edwards will be a Premier League Player having turned down some offers already... Shame they didn't get promoted might have put a few more quid on his valuation

He made his senior debut against us, in Beadle's first game in charge.

Good specialist when we needed to shut down top-end attacks, but overall I'm not particularly sad about this news - I was surprised we offered him a new deal to be honest. I think he's from Bromley, so probably just a case of wanting less of a commute to work.

I could also imagine that he would fit in more easily with their style of play!

Looks like Harry Kewell is going to fall upwards into a coaching position at Spurs.

In fairness Ange seems to like him and he is a very talented manager. Kewell might be one of those guys who is a decent assistant but not a manager

In all walks of life there are leaders and followers. Seemingly Kewell falls into the second group. Plus I suppose his being a fellow Aussie might suit Postecoglou.
